The woman in the Halifax ad looks a bit like Ruth Madoc.0

The Halifax tv ad is so bad, I decided to change banks, and they lost 2 x current accounts, 1 savings account and 1 credit card, when the asked the reason why, I told them it was purely down to their ads.
Did you really bother to change banks on the basis of there TV advertisement alone?Forum spellcheckers are the pitts.0 -
Yep - once I get married and have to do the great name-change-athon anyway I'm looking into shifting my account for the reasons of their changes to charges, and the fact I'm sick of the godawful adverts (mainly if I'm honest, the adverts are the final straw).
Now if those nice meerkats opened a bank...Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
Are you sure they're real staff members?
Only I'm sure that in one of them, a woman reads off a card.
Seriously now - how many Halifax employees do you know who can actually read and write (or at least act like they've the capacity to)?0 -

Those ads make me think they are staffed by immature numpties and this is not good for confidence in a financial institution.I presume they are trying to appear fun and friendly but it just makes them come off really bad. I wouldnt put my money in their hands - would you? What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0
