Not alone, but the advert was the proverbial straw that broke the camels back. I have been with halifax for over 22 years and its time for a change.

Yep - once I get married and have to do the great name-change-athon anyway I'm looking into shifting my account for the reasons of their changes to charges, and the fact I'm sick of the godawful adverts (mainly if I'm honest, the adverts are the final straw).

Now if those nice meerkats opened a bank...

Yes, I totally agree, the Halifax ads are awful and I cringe when they come on!!!

Those ads make me think they are staffed by immature numpties and this is not good for confidence in a financial institution.I presume they are trying to appear fun and friendly but it just makes them come off really bad. I wouldnt put my money in their hands - would you?
