Absolutely!!
That has to be the worst advert EVER!!!!!(c) Broke in Yorkshire. ( there are worse places )
Those that matter don't mind and those that mind don't matter!0 -
see I disagree, at least the tune is catchy, annoying but catchy. The Halifax one is worse because its so fake, people who work for companies are just not like that!Always ask ACAS0

They are real staff members.
I work for the company and they were holding interviews a while ago.
It makes me cringe watching them!(c) Broke in Yorkshire. ( there are worse places )

oh.........Always ask ACAS0 -
They should sack their advertising agency, all their ads have been terrible for ages.
I also hate this fake radio show ad, and the one where the staff form a "human" wall for people to walk on, or make a giant X so they can hand over the five quid to the punter. And the creepy Howard before them. Dire.
I used to like their old ads, "Get a little X-tra help.......at the Halifax". Ads from the '70's were way better than today's carp.Love the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, don't harrass them, don't deprive them of their happiness.0 -
The Halifax tv ad is so bad, I decided to change banks, and they lost 2 x current accounts, 1 savings account and 1 credit card, when the asked the reason why, I told them it was purely down to their ads.0

I've seen some tripe adverts in my time but the current one where they are in a radio station has to be one of the WORST adverts I have ever seen!!!
I don't know about worst, it's not actively annoying for me, but it certainly falls flat on its face. The idea just does not work. I plays like one big in-joke among the staff members in the ad and creative team.0 -

I thought this was common knowledge. Howard is deffo a real staff member who just happened to get cult status.0 -

True. I used to quite like the Abbey National "Get the Abbey habit with Abbey National". But the best one for me was the "It's the nice place, with the nice face, you're money's safe with the Woolwich" and then the cashier would smile and say "Good morning". A load of lies obviously, but pleasant adverts.0
