  • stupid not letting me withdraw £20 im back to nothing again now :(

munchki - dont give up , you will find somethign eventually
  • Munchki my heart really goes out to you I know that you have not been having the greatest time at all. Before I had my current job I sent out almost 120 cv's and it got to be soul destroying. Then on application 121 I got the job! And got back into doing the first love of my life graphic design :)
I know that you have done way more in terms of applying for positions than I did. But, don't give up as disappointing as it is with every rejection one of those two interviews next week could be THE JOB. And considering the fact that you are looking for work in one of the toughest job markets in years I am really proud of you for your resillience. I know you need more than words at the moment.
But, please don't give up - we are all rooting for you.

Awww Munchki hun, I reckon the prob is youre more intelligent and qualified than the people interviewing you and they're scared you'll make them look crap.
Nothing to say really hun I'm so sorry it didn't work out. Can't remember if I suggested it before but could you concentrate on your business and claim working tax credits?

I currently live in Huddersfield, but desperately trying to either get back to Nottingham or up to Scotland. There are no jobs here where I am either, I have knocked on so many doors.

I have never stopped trying to get the business going, just cant find any takers at the moment. Been advised that I cant claim WTC at the moment due to past income and because of current living arrangements. Long story...

Oh munchki - you have not upset or angered anyone on this thread as far as I can see.
Did you look into the clinical support worker/ nursing auxillary stuff. I am applying for it here - they are really short staffed.
Also as much as I don't want to do it I am delivering the local free paper. No interview - just came round and did the contract with me.
Not great pay and quite hard work but it is some money coming in.
I don't know if this is an inappropriate thing to say but maybe spend a bit of time looking at your worse case scenario and work out how YOU can be ok even if it happens. I don't mean that in some trite hippy way but actually what would happen and how could you physically and mentally be ok. If you can truly get a picture of how that may be - however dire you think it could get if you know that there are things you can do to be ok in the most basic of ways then maybe you can release some of the tremendous pressure that comes because you HAVE to get a job or these things will happen.
    Sorry if that sounds wrong.
