yes that was my idea to do that but didnt know wether it would put some customers off saying its for a guid only? ill defo be taking some photos over the next few days and adding them onto the site and hopefully will get some sales. I have loads of mailing bags lef tover and was thinking of offering them in free to people buying? anyone think that it would be a good offer?
I would say the golden rule is;
The more information the better......
What you need to do is make it seem as much of a dead cert as possible. Nobody likes uncertainty. I for one like to know exactly what I'm handing over my cash for
Postage bags....hmm well all extras are welcome to a buyer, but I can't say it would sway my decision either way
PS welcome Lost Prohpet!!0 -
Having the most dreadfully unmotivated day - can somebody please kick me up my big fat bum? Thanks.
Found this whilst having a trawl last night http://www.sellmyclothes.co.uk/
I've got binbags full of cheap clothes/shoes/handbags that are still in very good condition, and yet would not be worth the listing fee to put on eBay, as no one would buy them. It's only £1 or £2 a kilo, but I reckon the crud in the bottom of my wardrobe has to be worth £30 or so. Beats putting it out for the binman. I've got no transport, so their courier collection looks really handy.
Has anyone used them? No doubt half the stuff they buy will end up on eBay anyway...Stage one - declutter
Stage two - sell the clutter
Stage three - turn the money into more money
Stage four - pat self on back

Thanks Nikki - was just going to put some CDs and books on, but will put some of the prettier things on and see if they go. I've lost nothing if they haven't on a free listing day!Stage one - declutter

Hi everyone
Still feeling a little rough but OH has agreed to give me my craft stuff back today and do my pictures for me...it was confiscated yesterday.
I've read through what I missed, but I'm finding it a bit exhausting keeping up with all the newbies, so I hope it's okay if I just say Hi everyone?
I'll join in as much as I can today, I missed you all yesterday!Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -

Lol!! Sorry was that too hard?! Good luck with the eBay listing it's def worth a try.
Hi Saucy please don't feel obliged to do photos if you don't feel up to it we can wait ( I know it doesn't sound like it lol!)0 -
Hi guys, popping back on between party and van collection. Have done most of my list and going to do rest now.
Only found two things at the charity shop - jigsaw for £1.70 for DD to try to convince her that £9.99 new each time isn't a good idea, and a crafty book for me for £2.50. Checked it out on Amazon and it is on for a lowest price of £12.48, so when I've read it and had a go at some of the ideas hopefully I can make a tenner profit on it!0 -
i looked at this site a while ago will try and find the reviews i read. a few people have said that they were being ripped by the company as they weighed up and made sure all items were in good condition. made sure it was all the next and topshop stuff any only got £1 a kilo. They actually do operate on ebay as well. if you search for clothes and type in a weight (eg 17kg) that will be them selling it.
This was actually a second idea of mine was to open a sell my clothes style site and then sort through and list on my webshop but didnt know wether anyone would actually use my website?:j:jDribbling my way to financial success:j:j
