lol MMTWGR - I know that one, wake up with a smile thinking I will do this, this and this today and keep putting it off, until the time comes to start on dinner and nothing is done, I am sooo bad at doing that!
At least you have got bits on Amazon, thats a bit extra in the pot, now all you have to do is find the motivation to pack and post it! x
Munchki - good luck on the last one, glad the first two went well, looks llike you are going to have your pick of places! xturn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -

I still havent done anything ! Got into a Rowan Atkinson film last night that finished at 2am. Rang my cousin today for an hour conversation which since we havent spoken for a year must prove I am putting off doing stuff !! Off to Milton Keynes tomorrow so wont get anything done then either. God its frustrating ! My mind says yes yes yes but the body says need another tea. What a lie - the mind says have another tea too !
Sold a DVD on Amazon and a Portable Hard Drive today so thats a good boost to the funds.
I will attempt to list 4 things today on ebay. Baby steps.
You have done something and thats fantastic...it is hard when life keeps getting in the way! All I want to do is make some money but looking after two small children has to take priority!:rotfl:
Suddenly you will have the time and motivation come together and there will be no stopping you, so in the meantime babysteps is much better than nothing....well thats what I keep telling myself anyway!
Good to see you back though:T

baby steps is the only way to go, especially when you finally shift your butt to do something and one of them starts complaining.
I say to myself, I am going to do the washing up, hoover the living room, cook dinner and do 1 load of washing, anything over that is a bonus! That way I am happy with what I have done, not looking around and feeling miserable about the stuff I haven't done. (It works, until OH comes in and moans about the bits I haven't done!)turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -
Rachel, OH has a van so transport is ok, going to get him to pick them up tomorrow (I hope!), thinking I might have bitten off more than I can chew with sorting and storing them tho! Apparently there is 76 boxes with 50 books in each! oops!

Munchki I am wishing you all the luck in the world
MMTWGR - baby steps is right... even if it is little something is always better than nothing

I have started writing my book ...woohoo!!! ....but already need some help!! :rotfl:
I need to do some research about 8-12 year old girls and boys.
So please if any of you know any 8-12 years please could you just tell me a bit about them, either by pm or on here whichever is easiest best for you. I don't need or want to know any personal or identifying info at all, but an age would be good too.
Here are a few pointers as to the kind of thing I need to find out:
What books do they enjoy reading?
Do they have any favourite games (from outside with firends, to on a Playstation)?
How do they enjoy spending their free time?
What do they spend their money on, e.g magazines (if so which ones), sweets etc?
Do they have any hobbies?
What are their favourite school subjects?
Any school projects which they have really enjoyed and wanted to know more about?
Favourite tv shows/films etc
Any topics they are passionate about, eg my boy LOVES volcanos (but he isonly 4 so a bit young for my research!)
I know that seems a huge list but I don't need answers from everybody on all questions but if there is anything you can help with I'd love to hear from you!
Going to try posting on the family board too!
Thanks all :beer:Life is a work in progress0 -

nixi - used to volunteer for the local brownies until DDs came along, from what I can remember it was all makeup, crushes and clothes, proper little adults, either that or horseriding, they don't stay young anymore! You should try it if you can find someone to look after the kids for an hour and a half, its the most fun I have ever had working!turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0
