Money, I;ve had a look..... I think you have listed it for sale in another country???

WHen I add it to my basket it comes up with this page....
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/checkout/address/select.html/ref=ox_shipaddress_ship_to_this_1

and give this explanation when I click on learn more
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?ie=UTF8&nodeId=524836&pop-up=1

might be worth deleting the item and adding it again?

There is something def weird about that listing!!!
It says you can't deliver to my country (UK!)
Postage is showing as free up to the point where it says that though

Could someone with an amazon account help me please?

I put books, dvds and the portable hard drive on amazon and it automatically puts in the postage. As the hard drive had various postage costs offered by different sellers, I didnt understand, but I dont understand a lot these days !

I put another item on yesterday and it appears to be showing free postage? I have tried to add it in my basket to see total cost but because I am the seller it wont let me !

I cant see how I amend the postage and it talks about my settings for shipping?? I cant find anything about that - amend it due to weight and stuff???

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B000EDJ19Y/sr=/qid=/ref=olp_tab_new?ie=UTF8&coliid=&me=&qid=&sr=&seller=&colid=&condition=new

Its the second one for £6.99

Could someone try adding it to their basket and see what it says please?

    Sorry

Money - just tried this for you and it says 'this item cannot be despatched to your address' ?? I live in Warwickshire so not exactly the Outer Hebrides! Hopefully you were making changes at the rime and that could be why.......

  • I'm really confused..I'm Warwickshire too but it selects my Birmingham address cuz thats the last one I ordered too. It says £6.99 price + £4.39 postage...

Maybe I've done something wrong. Ah well...Sorry!

I have started writing my book ...woohoo!!! ....but already need some help!! :rotfl:

I need to do some research about 8-12 year old girls and boys.

So please if any of you know any 8-12 years please could you just tell me a bit about them, either by pm or on here whichever is easiest best for you. I don't need or want to know any personal or identifying info at all, but an age would be good too.

Here are a few pointers as to the kind of thing I need to find out:

What books do they enjoy reading?
Do they have any favourite games (from outside with firends, to on a Playstation)?
How do they enjoy spending their free time?
What do they spend their money on, e.g magazines (if so which ones), sweets etc?
    Do they have any hobbies?
What are their favourite school subjects?
Any school projects which they have really enjoyed and wanted to know more about?
    Favourite tv shows/films etc
Any topics they are passionate about, eg my boy LOVES volcanos (but he isonly 4 so a bit young for my research!)

I know that seems a huge list but I don't need answers from everybody on all questions but if there is anything you can help with I'd love to hear from you!

Going to try posting on the family board too!

    Thanks all

My brother is 12. He spends almost his entire time on the xbox (think COD, Fifa etc) unless i get him to play with my DS or do jobs for me (my mum would leave him there all day otherwise) He's a bit weird to be quite honest lol, only just starting to have real opinions about things that aren't just whatever mum tells him to think. Bit of a science geek if anything school wise. He reads those Horrid Henry books too, only those and 'learn how to draw' sort of books. Other than that he likes the normal football, WWE, TopGear (not quite as much as DS (3) loves it though :rotfl:) and strangely, all his friends are into golf, playing.. definately not watching. I swear they're all secretly old men.

  • Nixi, my daughter is 8 and my son is 10 so later on, I will get them to reply to your questions! If you think of any more, PM me and I will do my best for you!

Nixi- Brownies and Scouts are volunteer work, still is so much fun though, mind you I am one of those people that "gets on their level", used to get a million babysitting jobs out of it, one little girl said to me once "if mummy goes out who will look after us", by us she meant me too! The kids never classed me as an adult and I had some really wacky conversations with them. Oh, dancing and wannabe popstars, we used to have talent shows by popular request!

Rachel - really think I am going to need it, thanks, will let you know when it all arrives! Thought it had gone quite on my MSN, just realised I have been signed in as Rich all week! oops!

Haha, been since 11, got back half an hour ago and I can hear wailing and scratching coming from the kitchen, open the cupboard to find a cat in there! Poor thing, dread to think how long ago DD shut him in there, course, she was standing there laughing saying "it's funny mummy, bens stuck!"
