Well a man from Scottish Hydro Electric came to the door and it looks like I can save £150 on my gas and electricity a year, which of course would go in my pot.

I'm scared to change though, never done it before. Off to do some research on Scottish Hydro Electric, dum de dum dum.
  • Afternoon all - sounds like Munchki's having a good day - hope one of the interviews pays off for you! x

I haven't done anything to make any money yet today (teaching for 2 hours this evening, so that's £56 after paying for the studio), but...

I had £100 not earmarked for anthing in particular - thanks to this challenge - that I threw at a small debt, and paid it off for good. :D

Means the cashback moneymaking may have to wait for a week, but it felt good to see that total drop by £100 in one go.
    Stage one - declutter
Stage two - sell the clutter
Stage three - turn the money into more money
Stage four - pat self on back

I have started writing my book ...woohoo!!! ....but already need some help!! :rotfl:

I need to do some research about 8-12 year old girls and boys.

So please if any of you know any 8-12 years please could you just tell me a bit about them, either by pm or on here whichever is easiest best for you. I don't need or want to know any personal or identifying info at all, but an age would be good too.

Here are a few pointers as to the kind of thing I need to find out:

What books do they enjoy reading?
Do they have any favourite games (from outside with firends, to on a Playstation)?
How do they enjoy spending their free time?
What do they spend their money on, e.g magazines (if so which ones), sweets etc?
    Do they have any hobbies?
What are their favourite school subjects?
Any school projects which they have really enjoyed and wanted to know more about?
    Favourite tv shows/films etc
Any topics they are passionate about, eg my boy LOVES volcanos (but he isonly 4 so a bit young for my research!)

I know that seems a huge list but I don't need answers from everybody on all questions but if there is anything you can help with I'd love to hear from you!

Going to try posting on the family board too!

    Thanks all

Could someone with an amazon account help me please?

I put books, dvds and the portable hard drive on amazon and it automatically puts in the postage. As the hard drive had various postage costs offered by different sellers, I didnt understand, but I dont understand a lot these days !

I put another item on yesterday and it appears to be showing free postage? I have tried to add it in my basket to see total cost but because I am the seller it wont let me !

I cant see how I amend the postage and it talks about my settings for shipping?? I cant find anything about that - amend it due to weight and stuff???

    LINK REMOVED

Its the second one for £6.99

Could someone try adding it to their basket and see what it says please?

    Sorry
