Right going to bed in a moment. Munchki have you got any relaxation techniques to help you slow that mind down and get to sleep easier? or a book to read?

have a headache as well, me thinks I am am seriously over tired and have to be up for 5I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -
cagneuk - have you joined the Facebook group for £100 to £10,000? We started a list on there of people's blogs - here. I'll follow your blog when I work out how to!
munchki - wow, well done on all the interviews. Seems like Scotland has put fresh fight in you. I'll have my fingers and everything else crossed for you all day tomorrow.
Wayne - website is looking good. I might be coming to you for advice on mine soonOh and we had those big old computers at my school too - you didn't happen to go to Chaucer did you?
Paula - absolutely love the necklace, you are very clever!
Saucy - any chance of me placing an order for a catty notebook for jotting my bright ideas down in? I love black cats!!
I did a new post for my blog last night reviewing a cat toy. I am thinking that I will do this every so often to make a change from talking just about my cats themselves. So if anyone has anything catty they'd like reviewing, let me know. I'm not sure if there is much on this thread that would fit in that category, but if there is, let me know.
Right, back to the planning - I've been really brave and started contacting suppliers and had some really nice replies. There are some really nice people out there!!
when Saucy makes you a catty notebook you could do a review for her!!! Haven't seen her around much today, hope shes ok.Life is a work in progress0 -
ok that is me done, i cant stop yawning, so off to curl up with the kitty and try and get some sleep!!
love and hugs to you all and thank so for the good luck wishes! xxI am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -
Munchki quickly write down the jist of your ideas and save them for tomorrow night.
Can't really give you great relaxation techniques in such a short space but some simple ideas.
First lie on your back and squeeze your toes up as tight as you can ad hold for a few seconds and let go. work up through your muscle groups so legs. stomach, shoulders, arms, hands, face and then just start focusing on your breathing count 1 on in breath and 1 on out breath. then 2 in breath and 2 on out breath etc until you reach ten. then start again from 1. making sure you count each number on the in breath and then on the out breath.
Your mind will keep wandering and often you will go past ten in which case just start again from 1.
keep going to ten and starting again from 1 and focusing on your breathing and the numbers.
Might not be enough to send you to sleep but keep going for quite a while and you should be calmer.
Before you start make sure you are pratically ready for sleep and have not got to get up and do anything.
