Not had a chance to read back yet but thought I'd quickly say hi.
OH passed his driving test today (first time , i took 6 :rotfl:) and my insurance only went up £14.50, yay! Although I'm now hoping they didn't actually mean £1450
Went to the information meeting for the hairdressing course. I was the only one in smart clothe (i.e. black trousers) and I felt very old. The lecturer made it very clear that she was disappointed that so many people felt they could turn up to an interveiw in trackies, I felt like such a swot . 158 people going for 40 spaces, hoping my beauty background helps. Did take the first interveiw slot as I figured I would be remembered more...I hope.
Few more watchers on my eBay bids. Hoping for a bidding war!!
Hope everyone else is doing fine!
yay well done OH and well done you for going to the interview!!! I still cant beleive the things that people think are acceptable to wear to an interview!

Nikki sounds like you have a good chance with the hairdressing what with the extra brownie points for at last making the effort. Hope its been a better day for you.
Em if you are around what fancy dress did you settle on in the end? I was awake at some daft hour with the sudden thought of how to do a spacehopper costume:eek::rotfl:
but I think you are def better off with oe of your original ideas!!!

munchki, what sort of fabric do you need for quillows?
depends on who I am doing them for, what kind I am doing and generally the personal pref. I tend to use both fleece and cotton mostly, but have used medium weight curtain material for my ex mum in law as she love the pattern!I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. cagneuk - have you joined the Facebook group for £100 to £10,000? We started a list on there of people's blogs - here. I'll follow your blog when I work out how to!
munchki - wow, well done on all the interviews. Seems like Scotland has put fresh fight in you. I'll have my fingers and everything else crossed for you all day tomorrow.
Wayne - website is looking good. I might be coming to you for advice on mine soonOh and we had those big old computers at my school too - you didn't happen to go to Chaucer did you?
Paula - absolutely love the necklace, you are very clever!
Saucy - any chance of me placing an order for a catty notebook for jotting my bright ideas down in? I love black cats!!
I did a new post for my blog last night reviewing a cat toy. I am thinking that I will do this every so often to make a change from talking just about my cats themselves. So if anyone has anything catty they'd like reviewing, let me know. I'm not sure if there is much on this thread that would fit in that category, but if there is, let me know.
Right, back to the planning - I've been really brave and started contacting suppliers and had some really nice replies. There are some really nice people out there!!:jI shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.0
