Nobody deserves this more than you munchki. I so hope you get one of these jobs, and I really admire you for keeping going despite the setbacks.
Exam went OK today, so hopefully I've passed. I realise that I have been snacking, big time, while revising and everything is feeling very tight, so update on plans as follows:-
Exam done
Basic web site by end of month - still to do
Basic understanding of adsence by end of month - still to do
Earn another £100.00 by month end - still to do
Turn on 'The Shred' DVD each day, from tomorrow, and try to tone the flab
Calorie count each day until month end - 1500 maxI learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -

munchki take it easy
There are massively cheap houses/flats in Whitfield. It's a bad area - but I grew up there and it's far better than it was. PLus one of the flats I've seen (3 bedroomed, 2 level) was actually previously owned by my Ex so I know it well.
I just keep thinking - 1 bedroomed cramped flat + loads of debt = no money, or large 3-bedroomed flat, no debts, plenty of money. It's a no-brainer to me but hubby doesn't see it that way. He's massively emotionally connected to this flat. I personally don't care where I live, it's who is with me and what's in my house that makes it home.
The Ferry is so so expensive. My Mum is selling up move there (as where She grew up) but even 1 bedroomed flats are out of her price range.
Muncki - So glad about your interview tomorrow nad will def be crossing fingers for you.0 -
Whitfield we looked at haddington gardens but too small. the likes of speklewood court etc are just too bad IMO but then alot of my perception could be from the past because I have not actually been there in like, forever.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000

Specklewood Court etc were the ones I am looking at. I wouldn't live there with kids IMO. But that was where my Ex lived and he never had any problems either in his flat, the building or with his car in the car park. It has improved a lot in recent years.
The new builds are TINY though, you are right. Def not worth the money. Have you looked at Gotterstone area? It's just outside the Ferry and is very nice.0 -

Gotterstone is basically douglas. I not like douglas. Looked at hawick drive. I am funny because I don't want a huge mortgage.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000

Also because he has paid me via paypal can I refund him without it costing me money..only 37p but still don't see when I should pay it when he is the one in the wrong.
Hugs to all!
