Lol Saucy, that reminds me of my DD who cut herself when sawing in Design & Tech today - oh not badly, just realised how that sounds, lol, just a nick, she'll live - I asked her how she managed it and she said, I think I was keeping my fingers crossed it was going to work out right :rotfl:

My evenings seem to be disappearing into thin air right now, and I'm getting frustrated as I haven't done the things I'd planned. DD and DS taking up far too much of my time :rotfl: They're both very independent, so when they do actually need me for something, I take bad with it!! Ach bless, they're a good pair, although DS is obsessed with getting himself a motorbike right now, so I'm trying hard to be supportive although inside I'm squealing no no no no!

I know in advance that I'm probably going to be on my lonesome tomorrow at work for a good while, so I'm going armed with crochet hook and yarn and hope to get some bits started - I've been too full of finding ideas of what to crochet to be a little different, but haven't actually got around to starting anything, which is ridiculous!

Anyhow, just catching up with my OH (hate the bliddy time difference, I'll be knackered in the morning) before he sets out to work which means I won't get to chat till the weekend when I can stay up the wee small hours. Still, I should see that as more me time to get on with this challenge! Updated my siggy, as my change of leccy supplier cashback via Quidco has come through, along with a couple of other bits I did on there and forgot about, and I spend the evening parcelling up all my eBay sales from last night, which all went, so I'm happy with that. My total is carpy so far, but looking a lot better than it did, and when I say it out loud, I'm inspired to get cracking!

Sorry I haven't replied to everyone individually, but I'll catch up with you all tomorrow hopefully.

Night night sleep tight all.... hugs to those who need or want them .... Munchki keep in touch hun, and don't forget your lucky charm!!

heyLilac, speckledwood court was my first ever flat that i bought, it was a whole £14750 - one bedroom with own door and garden. that was when they done them all up and sold them off. i loved it up there!
havent read back much - hope everybody ok! spent the last two hours making a shoe out of sugarpaste! aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh but done it, will catch up later!

The ones I've been eyeing up are the 3 bedroom, 2 level ones. Nearly all my friends grew up in those types of houses in the back of Whifield, so it's all familiar to me. :)

Well I've a dooyoo review (and got lots of reads), done some work, rounded the money in the bank down to the nearest 10 and put the extra onto one of my credit cards, and found a folder os some of my scanned paintings. That's my semi-accomplished day.

Tomorrow is shopping with Mum, so won't get much work towards earning done but will no doubt talk a lot about it with my lovely Mother.

Hope everyone sleeps well.
• Morning,

Is it just me, or is everyone else a night owl? I would love to stay up, but once I have put DD1 to be, sorted out DD2 and got her to bed, cleaned up after dinner and watched the soaps, I am only fit for bed!

I always seem to be the first on here i the morning and I have been up 2 hours already! Mind you, suppose you lot have school runs, jobs and a life!

Plan for today is to go into town and pay bills :(, sweet talk someone into going and getting my bulk load of books, tell myself I haven't made mistake! Get freezer defrosted and ready for collection and clean the new one when it gets here ( been told it is clean, but have a funny feeling it is going to be smelling of squid) and try to work out how to use bulk book listing software.

Good luck today Munchki x

• Morning All,
Hope that everyone is okay J
Munchki – best of luck!
Hales - Could you remove wedding brochure printing from my commitments I am going to save up a bit and see how much money I have at the end of the month.

Right, despite my whingeing, the end of the day was far better than the start. Not going to sulk over the bad anymore because what happened during the evening was so much better.
The good was I found a really great wedding photographer who I featured on my blog – he has added me to his email signature and as a result I have my very first blog comment ***squeals***.

The second was that I contacted someone about a jewellery feature that I am going to do and they have told their engaged friends about me! They are an Etsy seller but the good will that I have been getting online is blowing me away. However, my dribblers are always my favourites.

The third part is that I have contacted a popular wedding blog about becoming a sponsor as back linking and sponsored links seem to be the best way of getting site traffic. I am putting together an introductory note and am sending them some images so fingers crossed I get featured on their blog.

I know I have raved about link assistant before but it has been great at analysing competitor’s websites and has given me loads of information about how to optimise my site SEO. You can get a free version at http://www.link-assistant.com/. I have included some video links that will help if you are interested in SEO:

Other than that my phone contract has expired – so I think I am going to do the carphone warehouse free gift deal although, I am still mulling it over.
If anyone has a phone contract that is about to run out and you are interested. There is a deal giving you a free ps3 and Dark Knight Blue Ray DVD – it has a good resale value on eBay (but you are tied into 24 month deal it is only worthwhile if it will save you money).

Procrastination management tip of the day - Found a website that recommended working in 30 minutes bursts on projects. I tried it and I found that my concentration and completion rate was better than expected.

• Dillidalli, I find that working for intense 30 minute bursts works well for me, I think knowing exactly when I will finish helps a lot.

I'm keeping the coat, I don't know when I'll next get the chance to get a Boden coat and if I feel really good in it hopefully it'll spur me on in my efforts!
I'm taking a sickie today, I have yet another cough / cold, it's been my worst winter health-wise for years. Plus DH has borrowed my car, he had to leave his at work yesterday because it wouldn't start so I'm stuck at home. Lots of time to Ebay!

Morning everyone,

The boss is back in today so might not be on here much but thought I'd say hello before things get hectic.
MummyandPaige - you're not the only one. I find once DD is in bed and we bath and bed our 5 month son, that's me done.
DD is 4 tomorrow, can't quite beleive where the last 48 paydays have gone, lol, so I have the day off work and we are spending the day together as a family (once she is back from nursery) what started as lunch for 4 has turned into all grandparents, aunts and uncles turning up too so should be good.
Been looking into different web hosting packages etc and the idea I have someone else already has started but it doesn't look like they bother with it much so I'm still going ahead with it.
Hope everyone has a v. productive day.
Speak soon.

Work finally sorted my shifts out (albeit they have me back a day early  but I'm on leave so not going in!) Back to work as of 6th March :( :rotfl:

Need to sort a lot of college stuff today so can only really see myself wandering to the postbox later. OH has the car and because I can't drive it I now REALLY want to go out!!

Morning everyone.lots of positivity on here this morning. Fingers crossed for munchki.
Dillidalli 30 mins seems to be a common theme. I put your invites on my facebook although not got many friends. oh yes and MMs jewellery. going to put 2 cats jewellery on soon. just don't want to become a walking advert. but will work my way through everyone soon.
Also got my own idea for a blog but need either a camera or a phine with a decent camera first.
Sold a book on amazon but prob only get about £1.50 after fees. still it all helps.
one of Dhs items has 44 watchers now and another has 35.
Hope we make enough to cover the daft postage he has said we will send by!! apparently he checked on ebay and it said parcel 24 would cost 9 pound something. when actually parcel 24 doesn't exist anymore and its replacement is express24 which starts at a minimum of £15.
Oh well - a lesson learned.
Heres to a good day for as many people as possible.
Jo x.

• Dillidalli - the 30 minute bursts is a good idea, but with 2 small DD's I tend to break the tasks down instead, ie, washup &wipe sides, then I can have a break, or write 3 reviews, then have a break, doesn't always go uninterupted, but if I do them small like that, then can squeeze DD's feeding, nappies and play into the breaks without them getting annoyed and demanding whilst I am doing things.

Cagne - Happy Birthday to the little Munchkin! Is it Peppa Pig or HSM that got the bulk of the money this year! If you have found a nieche, go for it, before someone else does! DD2 is that age too, after they have gone to bed, all I want is some peace and quite and to slob on the sofa!

Nikki - glad you got work sorted, if you need to get stuff sorted at home, it is probably a good thing OH took the car! Can you not walk/bus it anywhere? Speaking as a non-driver, I manage to get around, and with a double buggy, no less, mind you, you should see me trying to get on bus!

• Jo - Morning! God, the amount of time it takes me to write one post with kids climbing all over me is silly! Have you tried Freegle for a camera, they go out of dte so quickly, that they re worthless for resale, someone said to ask on freegle for one as loads just get chucked. I hve one that if I am lucky will get a pound on EBay but there is nothing wrong with it, it takes good pics, sure others are the same x
