Have you done your listing already? If so go into "manage your listings" on the members toolbar. It will show the title of your item and then to the right one of the buttons will say add/edit images. Then you browse for the picture.

It's difficult to know what to do isn't it Lilac! It's so nice that others feel the same way though you feel less alone ;-/
we need some inspiration-I've just had delivery of some lovely beads-rose quartz, mookaite and tigers eye but am stuck as to what to do with them.
Why dont you find the qualities of the stones and sell them as healing jewellery
I suggested this to a friend who runs a jewellery shop and it was a huge success
There are loads of good books on the subject
You could also make bespoke items where customers can choose stones they would find helpful to them
Add a card explaining stone qualities as a nice touch

Is that the psychic opinion or the 'stop moaning and think positive opinion?!'
Thats all I want-just enough to get by on-no desire to be famous!

Unfortunately tiaras are one thing that i have had no luck making-thats why I just do the headbands. Theres also hell of a lot of competion-even more than wedding jewellery!

My first sentence was psychic opinion, the rest was using common sense. I think I have some common sense ... somewhere.

Just thought as well Yummymummy you should be able to do a mutual exchange which is essentially a house / flat swap as soon as you've moved in. The council should have a list you can register on and look for people to swap with and also check out all your local housing associations as it doesn't have to be with a council tenant.

  • I know, I can't wait for Easties either. I've even made OH promise to watch it so I can talk to him about it.

No rose, though. Just champagne...And I shouldn't drink that, half a glass and I'm giggling, hiccuping and falling over. I am the worst drunk.

Amber - Any rental replies talking about West Africa and christian missionaries are probably scams, right?

Just had a second response to the properties we were enquiring about, again it's made me suspicious...I wonder if I'm just a suspicious person?

What's made you suspicious about it, Saucy? Remember that if it's a Spanish person replying in English that their use of words/turn of phrase may seem odd to us. Could it be that?

Feel a bit guilty moaning about this while a lot of others are having such bad times..but.. I'm really not sure about this jewellery business,it just doesn't seem to be going anywhere and I'm spending so much money on the website etc. wish I did have Ambers psychic abilities so I'd know if I was wasting my time/money!
I know It's only been 2 years (a year with the website up and running) and these things take time-perhaps I'm just expecting too much :-(

Your not moaning! I wish I could help..... Have you contacted the local press to get them to do something about you in the business section of the Journal???? Got to be worth a bash, have you put your Seren stuff on etsy/folksy? Maybe try designing some wedding stuff with a bit of an edge, not quite so pretty .... if you know what I mean!! Maybe Goth style... pretty but with dark jewels etc..... I like your stuff but its not me, I am not girly at all.... I;m probably talkinng rubbish.....

YummyMummy.... Like Natnat said, I am sure there are min standards that the council have to adhere to and I'm sure that they would have to be higher than the private let.... I am sure the council should have something about it on their website.... and try direct.gov.uk...

    http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/HomeAndCommunity/index.htm

There might be something in there!

Off to list on ebay.... I have boxes and boxes to list!!!

    Back later!

Mabel I will take a photo of the watch tomorrow to show you, as if you could make me something similar but with silver I would be a very happy girly and my mum would love her B'day present x
