This can only stay up for half an hour or so, or I'll get told off.
But, anyone who has items on Folky/Etsy, especially jewellery, if you PM me what inspired you to start your range and an interesting fact about you (how you choose your name, something odd you use to create things, anything really) I'll include you in my next Folksy marketing article. Should be out next week, and might bring more traffic?Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -

OK, that doesn't sound like a translation problem LOL. Forget my last comment. :rotfl:0 -

No rose, though. Just champagne...And I shouldn't drink that, half a glass and I'm giggling, hiccuping and falling over. I am the worst drunk.

You've been on Loquo then ... yes, I'd forgotten about that side of it. Scam merchants for sure.0 -
Yummymummy, as an Ex Housing Officer (don't know if I should have admitted that, don't linch me!!!) that flat has to meet up to certain "lettable standards", some are deamed by law and others by the individual landlord. I would suggest you: 1. Take photos of it now before you do anything just in case you need them if you take any action in the future etc and write a list as well. 2. Ask them for a copy of their lettable standards 3. They should have had an electrical safety test carried out (and gas if you have it) and should have a copy of the certificate issued by the engineer on file. I would politely go in and ask to see that as well and maybe a copy of the complaints procedure. If they know you know your rights they won't fob you off. Good luck
I took photos of everything earlier anyway, because i'm sad like that obviouslyso that's fine. The guy gave me the list of lettable standards, copies of gas safety checks and a satisfaction survey. Maybe my councils standards are just low. The ceilings are absolutely thick with tar aswell, I guess I just thought they'd do .. well .. something!
I will be writing a list for Monday, whoever sees me then will hate me! Don't get me wrong, i'm not the type of person who feels the system owes them everything, I just can't bare the idea of my son going anywhere near that hole or the idea the council system thinks it's an acceptable standard for him. If it was just me i'd deal with it.
Maybe backwardsly, i've decided to work on flooring first, since i'll have to wait for my 3 pots of free paint (silly idea) something with a big impact to try and make it feel slightly more like our home0
