Had my friend look at it when I got here and he agreed, the windscreen is a right off *sigh* so now keeping fingers crossed it does not get worse before I can figure out how to take care of it all! I may lose the car anyway in a couple of weeks so, just taking things a day at a time!

oh, Munchki.... what a pain in the @rse.... Cyber choccie and a steaming mug of tea on its way..... Onwards and upward girl... PMA and all that... you will get a job, all the knockbacks have been in order for you to find the perfect one.....

Crafty - take em to the PO and weigh them, unless you have bathroom scales??? Have a look on ebay at PP stuff

it seems the individual sets sell well. Oh and I use Interparcel....£7.79 via paypal up to 25kg I think.... but they deliver quickly (says 5 days but usually delivery in 2 with UPS) and the tracking is much better than P2G. P2G are a pain when something goes missing as it tends to when you use HDNL and getting compensation.... well I';m down £50 from well before xmas.....

I have spent hours photographing the last of the kids clothes to go on ebay as either smaller or individual lots.... I can see me up til late tonight getting them listed.....

Off to get dinner ready, then run sprog A to beavers and then I think I will snuggle down with sprog B for a bit before OH comes home.

OH, Amber - I had an idea for money making for you luvvie..... Dom lessons!! I am sure there are plenty of people that would like to earn some on the side but are a bit nervous about it.... Not me, I can't be doing with it myself but I could think of one or two.... *ahem* *mutters Mabel* LOL!

  • Munchki!! Glad you got there safe and sound, stupid bliddy windscreen though! Relax and enjoy!

Got another question for everyone while it's nice and quiet here - I stayed up way later than I should have last night as I suddenly remembered my DD has a ton of Polly Pocket stuff up in her wardrobe. Spent ages going through it all and photographing etc with the intention of listing on eBay today. Only thing is, it's a lot of stuff, and I've no clue what postage will be, and my little kitchen scales couldn't possibly cope. There is one large 'house' and another 3 medium carry 'houses' - as well as 18 dolls, 29 jackets, 19 dresses, 23 pairs of trousers, 31 tops & jackets, 16 bags and 34 pairs of shoes plus all the usual accessories and furniture bits and pieces.

I suspect they'd sell better as a job lot, do you think my the local postmistress would throw me out of the post office if I packed it all in a box and took it along to be weighed but not posted?? :rotfl: I don't really want to do collection only, as I know I'll be heavily restricting who its available to and won't get best price. Not sure what best price is yet, but I'm watching a couple of current listings to get an idea.

I recently sold some boots on ebay and had an enquiry from Croatia and one from Germany. So I packed them up and took them to PO.I got the prices for both countries and the price for the UK.Plus I picked up a leaflet showing postage cost for home and abroad. The winning bidder was from UK and when I went to post them the price was cheaper than what I had been quoted :rotfl:.
One thing I have learned from this, is to only sell in the UK.The postage abroad was only about £2 dearer than here.Neither of them put a bid in:(.Waste of time and money.Lesson learned:)

Mimms If I'd done nothing but cleaning I would definitely consider it a lot done. Its one of my "self improvement" areas!!!!!
