It was a no brainer....my only mistake was sharing it with some tw@ts (:D ) on here.
That wasn't a mistake, because that's what MSE is all about. What WAS a mistake was getting uppity with people that didn't share your rose-tinted perspective, and referring to them as female genitalia won't do much to enhance your reputation here, either :)
Thanks to all who post constructively.

Whatever you may think about the exorbitant launch price of Sony’s PlayStation 3, the fact that the Sony brand is one of the most well recognised in the world isn't really in any doubt.

This has been (re-)established this week with the results of an online survey of 2,351 adults in the US, conducted by Harris Interactive, which found Sony to be the top of their ‘best brands’ list for the seventh consecutive year.

Interestingly, neither Microsoft or Nintendo got a look in, with various cars, IT brands and soft drinks brands making up the rest of the top ten, which is as follows:

    1. Sony
    2. Dell
    3. Coca-Cola
    4. Toyota
    5. Ford
    6. Honda
    7. Hewlett Packard
    8. General Electric
    9. Kraft Foods
    10. Apple

Other brands that received a substantial number of mentions but not enough to make the top ten include Chevrolet, Panasonic, Pepsi Cola, Nike and Maytag.

Note that Panasonic are mentioned there in passing, but no mention of the manufacturer of your TV, sadly ;)

Yes, it's shocking that a European company that doesn't operate in the USA doesn't rate highly on a USA brand recognition survey... :rolleyes2

You may want to remove the pic, it has the F word in it :(
But I do take your point, arguing on here is embarrasing all round.

i just hope that Hewlett Packard don't introduce a 42" plasma for just over £800, i'd hate to see the 'Brand Name' argument develop again, especially with them coming in at No7 :rotfl:

Anyone want an argument as to whether it will go dark tonight or stay light

Yet again another scummy way of getting a point across. Is this forum actually moderated at all?

Ehosin. That is a diabolical picture. I have a warped sense of humour but that is sickening and unneccesary.

    You found it amusing????????????

I remember when it was over-moderated. Anything that wasnt close to a grabbit was instantly banished to another subforum. Now however, not much seems to happen. Its gone from over policed to under policed :(
I thought the bad post reports about swearing would at least result in a mod modifying the post.

That's one of the classic internet pics/phrases to be honest, surprised you've never seen it before.
