I ran the full scan yesterday and it didn't do anything. I downloaded Malwarebytes Anti-Malware on my mums laptop and transferred it onto the main computer and when I put it on there it would not let me open it. I also ran mrt and had no luck their either and tried removing any add-ons and that didnt work.I managed to put it on safe mode with networking and am now doing a system restore, i just hope it worksMarkAldridge0

Okay, try portable superantispyware.
Download it onto a usb stick and try it.

Open task manager and stop xpAntivirus process.Then search for and delete all xpAntivirus files -maybe 9- and shlwapi.dll and wininet.dll0
