OK - finally got hacked off and took my machine into work. It took us about 45 minutes to sort out the hard-drives, unkink and move all the cables (they were twisted to hell and they'd left them very close to the fans and one was going brown) and find out the DVD drive is definitely dead.
All I need now is a new DVD re-writer (IDE) and I'm back in business.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
