Tell me about it.. :rotfl:
My account has gone from Meridian, to Advance to Bank Account, still the same account.:)
They just want people to pay for their fancy sounding accounts, no way will I be paying HSBC a penny.;)0 -
I wonder if I cancel Plus subscription, if they'd want the card back! I was happy to pay the £13 p/m for the black card - now it'll be silver and ugly looking they can shove it and i'll cancel....

I'm an existing customer (although the Flexaccount isn't used).
Whether or not you are an existing Flexaccount customer, you will only get the £75 if you see a link to the offer in internet banking.0 -

If you read the T&C (post #7), you will see that you don't have to close another account but you do need to have another account from which to switch.
Point 8 of the T&C show you can't manually change DDs yourself if you want to qualify for the £75.0 -

Yes existing customer....got an email about the offer and a link was available when I logged in to the account.
The conditions say that you can apply for a Flex a/c online and be eligible for the offer if you get the Flex a/c with Visa debit card.
7. If you are a new customer, to qualify you must open a new FlexAccount online which must be eligible for a Visa debit card and then ask us to transfer all your Direct Debits, standing orders and bill payments from an account with another bank or building society to your new FlexAccount by choosing ‘Option A – Transfer all my payments' as part of your application. If you choose ‘Option B – Send me a list to choose from' you will not qualify for this offer.0 -

You only need to transfer any SO/DDs/Bill payments from another a/c - no need to close the a/c.0 -

To be eligible for the offer, if you are a qualifying customer, you must sign on to the Nationwide Internet Bank and complete and submit a ‘Transfer my account to Nationwide' form within the Internet Bank to transfer all your Direct Debits, standing orders and bill payments from an account with another bank or building society to a qualifying FlexAccount. To do this select your account, click on ‘Transfer my account to Nationwide' and choose ‘Transfer all my payments for me'. If you choose ‘Send me a list and let me choose' you will not qualify for this offer.
So, yes, all DDs or Standing Orders must be moved.0 -

I didn't see a link when I log in, but I did get an email invite a couple of days ago (legit as it had my name and postcode on it)
Is there a way to view your past messages, incase I missed it?0
