Sorry ....can't offer any advice ....all mine have been at least 10 days before due dates - #1 10 days before due date, #2 15 days before due date, #3 11 days before, #4 16 days before!!
All weighed in at the same - 7lbs 9oz !0 -

a sweep is where they basically try to bring on labour by poking your cervix. Had 2 with last baby, second one worked. It is uncomfortable and undignified, but it does work :-) or at least mine did...

The MW sweeps her fingers between your cervix and the baby's head to try and kickstart labour.
Didn't work for me, and it hurt quite a bit.
