The specs say it has an SD card slot. I don't know but I guess this is just for still images though?

Raw DV roughly records at around 5 mins per GB so that' s around 180 seconds on a 512 SD card. Aa far as I know this cam does not have the ability to compress or convert DV on the fly.

Those reviews are very useful, cheers! But alas, the NVGS35B has now sold out. Or Bargaincrazy have just pulled the plug on the offer, maybe it was an error after all and they realised. Hope everyone that wanted one got their order in.
