No wonder they're desparate to have these threads removed.
Google usafashionz + gumtree there are loads of adverts for 'jobs'. There's also at least one person seeling stuff on ebay on their behalf at the moment.
[not allowed to post links as im a new user, its listed a little earlier in the thread]
Hi guys, I'm new to the site, thought I'd post after seeing this come up in google search for "ebay scam usafashionz.com"
The ebay seller quoted earlier in this thread is me. I jumped at the chance when the ad was posted on gumtree, im a student and had run an ebay shop for my dad before so I thought I was onto a winner with this one.
Sent my CV off, first thing I noticed was abit weird was that I had posted my CV, and 'Sam Sugars' was insistent that I had to email it even though I had sent it first class and it would have been at her office by then... But I went along with it anyway thinking maybe she works from home or somthing.
Spoke to her on the phone, she sounded very unprofessional, but again I gave her the benifit of the doubt and continued along with it. Said I was their first seller on ebay etc and they were really excited to take me on and stuff. Sucker for a compliment, I jumped straight in, listing all she asked.. Then after the initial excitement about getting a source of income went away, I began to think practicly.. I knew nothing about where the stuff was or how long it would take to get to any buyers.. So i rang miss sugars.. she first of all took about 5mins to work out who I was even though we'd spoken on the phone the day before.. and asked if i could call back in 10 mins. So while I waited I checked out her whois and found she was registered to a recovering alcholics centre in london?! When asked about this she just said "so?" And i asked for the postcode and phone number of the warehouse so I could phone and check that they were at lest holding the items for her, but she refused. At that point I hung up the phone and had to cancel all the listed items on ebay.. Fortunatly i got away with only the listing fees to cover as I refunded everyone imediatly, I only had 2 bad feedback out of 10.
Was a very stressfull experience. I have notified both the webhost of the website and the care home being used as a cover address.. I would really like to stop this womans activites.. is there any way I could take it further? Any advice would be appriciated.

Seems there at it again under a new name(s), just seen this on the jobcentre website, wonder if anyone can trace these people, i have read an article after googling of more victims of this scam. i think advertising in the job centre gives the job seeker a false sense of trust.
