The mods were quick to delete it.

Can you believe it, 'our friend' was in another thread, telling MSErs to search for jobs on Gumtree. The mods deleted that too. :D

    What a loser!!

I agree Hermann but our friend purposely posted info about another (legit) company yet again. :)
I keep missing those posts! (if you remember which company he refers to feel free to PM me I'd be interested to know! Don't bother posting it in the thread though)

  • Hello.

My friend and neighbour applied for a job advertised on Gumtree for an Auction Lister for USAFashionz - £150 a week. (That's what it said but it wasn't) She had to use her Ebay account with goodfeedback to sell things. When the people paid, she paid the money over to the company and was suposed to get a percentage. She didn't have the goods - the company were supposed to send them to people direct. My friend did not get her money back and the people she sold to didn't get the things they paid for. She is very upset and is refunded them out of her own money. I can't say any more here but I would really nnot advise anyone to respond to these adverts on GUmtree - they are scammers. I told my friend to go to Citizens Advice but she won't.

I keep missing our "friends" posts, shame as by the responses they seem very entertaining! :)

The thread yesterday was pure gold.....:)

No wonder they're desparate to have these threads removed.

Google usafashionz + gumtree there are loads of adverts for 'jobs'. There's also at least one person seeling stuff on ebay on their behalf at the moment.

Tell your neighbour to keep going on at them, this is exactly what happened to me and I thought Id lost my money too until I posted on here and all of the wonderful MSE'ers did a lot of detective work at the loser ended up paying me back cos he knew we were onto him, Ive got a hell of a lot of information on the guy if you want it, I printed the threads out yesterday :)
