Afternoon folks, been in work for longer today, have picked up a few hours this week as colleague who fell last week on the ice isn't properly recovered. itty bitty couple of hours here and there, but I'm nearby so not too bad. All income! It's a bit disruptive though.

Got to go and get ds in a bit.

I've not got much to say, not cooked anything exciting. DS doesn't want to do anything or go anywhere at half term, so that's a bit dull as well. Dullesville.

Sunnyday - what's the code to get free delivery at Body shop? My mum uses that cream and I could get some for her for mothers day. sorry being a bit thick I couldn't tell what the actual code was from your post.

Edited to add: damn just had a look at the website and it's now out of stock grrr

Bitsy - The code 510FEB gives the discount of £5 off a £10 spend, as the items in your basket add up to more than £15 before the discount you automatically get free delivery. Its worth looking a couple of times a day on the site as i`ve known body shop to have items go in and out of stock a couple of times a day when offers are on. Good luck.

    Afternoon all

Happy Birthday MMM. Hope you are having a lovely day:bdaycake:

Just finished work for the day and it is my day off tomorrow thank goodness. Light snow showers here but nothing settling so far. My car has to be taken to garage tonight so they can have a look at it tomorrow as there is an electrical problem and the interior light keeps coming on and off and draining the battery, hope it doesn't cost too much:(

We are having a very easy tea tonight of eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms and beans - just coz I really fancied it lol:rotfl: Hubbie always likes that anyway so will be pleased about it! I got one of the £1 heart shaped egg pans from Poundland today as a joke for Valentines day but may just try it out tonight:D

Right off to read the thread - have a good afternoon all

Flying visit from me, hubby's new job seems ok, but a bit disorganised.
I'm finding no time to get online as I'm up at 5ish to get him to the station, then go to work, come home, throw tea on & set off to get him.
Tea tonight is Shephards pie, I've just got to mash the spuds to put on top, chuck it in the oven & then bomb to the station to get him.
Have a good evening one & all.
    Hugs Hester

Take care everyone and hope to catch up later :D

    Afternoon all,

    Happy birthday MMM.

We had lunch out to-day.....my oldest friend treated us as we hadn't seen each other since her birthday in November...must ring her in a bit, as I bought her a teapot for Christmas to go with the tea cosy I knitted ( purple with a red decoration on top that doesn't go!) but not sure that she will realise what the red means as it was the only red I had and not exactly what I meant to use!

Congratulations on being back at work Lowesy....take it easy though as you need time mentally and physically.

Hugs to all and have a good evening

birthday.gif MancMillyMolly-hope you are having a great day.

I've not been on here posting for a few days as DS1 has been hogging the lappie and muttering darkly about broadband speeds.Seems fine to me,but what do I know?
    Nothng new anyway :rotfl:

I feel really tired at the mo,prob done too much today- did my Wii fit, then took the dog out, then DS dropped me off at a new Sainsbugs that opened today, and I seriously underestimated what the shopping would look like in my wally trolley,as I was then walking home. There was another bag that I had to balance on top,but it all felt really heavy.Took me about 30 mins to get home as opposed to 20,as I kept stopping to change arms.frazzled.gif
After I unpacked it all,I decided to move our bed away from the wall,as I can't find one of my library books, and thought it might have slid under, but no joy. Then I couldnt get the bed back, that weighed a ton too,had to sit on the floor and push off the wall with my feet to get it moving.

Beef curry for tea, currently in the Remoska.I got the beef off the market yesterday when I went for two balls of wool.Saw a teacher I used to work with about 15 years ago, haven't seen her since. She was behind me at the till, and said 'ooh is that real wool',I turned to make sure it was her but recognised her voice before I saw her,so we had a nice chat.
I also got 3 lots of fabric for £8,so quite pleased with that,I've cut out a top this aft.
Right, the workers are home,so better get the curry out.Hope everyone is well, hugs to those who need one.x

    Evening everyone

Just catching up, been at work all day. DS2 got a friend round for tea, then they are off to the school disco till 8.30pm so should have an hour of peace and quiet - bliss:D. Just feel very tired at the minute and am sure I am coming down with a cold, just what I need as it will be frowned upon if I take any time off work as just returned after 2 1/2 months due to looking after ds2 after his accident.

Not much os today, made hm carrot and lentil soup at last, so that will be my lunches sorted for next few days. wm been on and hung up. Need to clean kitchen and also do bathroom if I get chance.

MMM - Happy Birthday:beer:. Hope you had a lovely day.
Sandy - Hope your arm improves and you dont need the op.

Candygirl - hope you dgd is not as sore.

Well I'd better sign off. DS1 wants a lift to football training.

Hugs to anyone who needs or wants one. Enjoy the rest of your evening. Take Care.
