    Morning All,

    :bdaycake:MancMillyMolly - Happy birthday
MSD & topsyturvey - :A:A Bless you both for thinking of us
CRANKY - Congrats on going back to work
Anguk - Hope Martyn continues to improve

Well, today is my first day back at work. Thankfully, my boss spoke to everyone in the department and told them that my absence from work was not something I wanted to discuss. My dear friend here, spoke to the people in the department that I consider friends and filled them in totally, just so I wouldn't have to explain anything. Have had a couple of moments though this morning as a couple of friends mentioned how sorry they were. Funny really, I can cope perfectly until someone is nice to me!

Unfortunately this of course means that I have come back to a bit of a mess as people have tried to cover for me, and while I appreciate their efforts, they've really just made more work for me

OS wise, I have a couple of bits to iron this afternoon when I get home from work (not doing full days yet) and then tonight we're having a smoked mackeral sort of biriani come risotto thingy (sp?) for tea. A lot lot tastier than it sounds honest :D Also made sure we had packed lunches for today, but thinking about it, mine will probably go home with me when I leave! What a numpty!!! Oh well, at least I'm getting back into the swing of things.

Have a lovely day, OS or otherwise, hugs to those in need/want xx

Morning all. Its really cold here. We had a light sprinkling of snow overnight which then froze. It took ages to defrost the car this morning and the roads were terrible.

It's been a busy morning at work so far and I've only just managed to get my breakfast, I've been up since 6am so I was well ready for it!!! Lunch today is some HM pea & ham soup and a HM roll, both from the freezer. Lovely OH is making spaghetti & meatballs for tea from Jamie's ministry of food. I don't often get cooked for so that will be a real treat :-)

Nothing much OS to report. I called at Mr M on the way home last night and got a few good YS items including fish cakes for 25p and strawberries for 49p.

Have a good day everyone x

Emails are still down in work, which is causing me no end of problems. I'm off out shortly to visit various places so finger's crossed it will be working by the time I get back.

I'm off out for dinner with the girls tonight. Going to Pizza Express, using the Orange 241 plus free starter voucher :) I'm also going to have a look for a new coat.

Nothing OS planned for today, should tidy but probably won't get round to it! :rotfl:

    Have a good day all

  • Good afternoon everyone!

Hope you're all having a good day? It's not a bad one here, the sun is shining, so that's something!

DH is making shepherd's cobbler tonight, if he can get to grips with the scone recipe! After that, we're both heading out, he's got a meeting and I've got Choir practice.

Have a good day everyone and hugs to all that need one!

Just a quickie Sunnygirl - I haven`t seen any codes for MrA recently although once registered some get added to your account every so often, they will also mail codes to you too.

If you use quidco then there is £5 off your first shop with them but i suspect that you will have to cancel your order and clear your cookies first and then re register with MrA with a different email address using quidco?

Remember to close your browser after clearing the cookies etc i always clear all files before reopening the browser just to be on the safe side and have had no problems.
