    Sorry but I refuse to believe you could have had 6 pregnancies and miscarriages and it not be on your file.

    If so there are major failings.

    Most of them happened when I wasnt in this job thats why.

    This is the first time that this has happened in this job. I was not asked this question when I took the job and I saw no reason to volunteer the information.

    If this meeting is part of the abscence procedure I would be surprised if they can refuse you a Union Rep being present... someone will know I'm sure..

    There have been numerous complaints over this fact. They know they are sailing close to the wind about this but nothing ever gets done.

    I agree I thought you are offered a union rep or another member of staff but could be refused a family member

    that may mean that they are only there for eyes and ears and not to comment on the actual meeting though, I would ask for clarification

    that's an interesting point, actually. Meeting is fairly early tomorrow so will report back tomorrow on how it went, thanks to those who offered constructive help and advice.

    Its not just about the miscarriage thing, its actually about the whole bigger picture of my illness (PCOS)

    His predecessor, a woman, did deal with it. I had a massive problem when my hair fell out due to it which was extremely upsetting.
