  • Hi Shoptilyoudrop

I agree with Fiddiweb I have windows firewall avg (free version) and malwarebytes. I have had these for a while after my subscription for Mcafee expired and so far I have had no problems at all. You need to install malware from the link he gives and it wil show up any nasties on there and wliminate them for you.

Malwarebytes is very good, but its no substitute for a proper av program as it only scans 'on demand'

If it is Windows XP, almost certainly 32-bit. If it is Vista or Windows 7, right-click on "Computer" on the start menu and then choose properties. It will say 32-bit or 64-bit under "System type".

Thanks its 32 bit, I have vista. I will run those scans now :D

Not at all I would recommend what tentonine say, its good advice.
I would try and find out why you are having problems first before changing anything, no harm trying malwarebytes first just to double check that you don't have anything nasty.

Ok thankyou. I'm just downloading it now.

I have saved the file, was i only ment to run it :S

  • Saving the file is fine, as you can still run it afterwards (then delete it once you have installed the program).

  • Yes, you should click on "Fix Checked", as long as all the infections are checked!
