    Obviously not. :j
  • I too would reccommend Brother Multifunction printers partially for their reliability and partially because they are fairly cheap to run with compatible cartridges such as Genuink.
Most of their printers usually come with a 1-3 years warranty too.

It appears that Brother printers also have their printheads built in to the printer itself and not in the cartridge.
Therefore, at the extra price, little more than a glorified Epson.
The "cartridges" are little more than "ink wells".

There`s nothing wrong with either Epson or Brother printers if they are in CONTINUOUS use and the ink keeps flowing not blocking up the "printheads".
Anyone that wants a printer but doesn`t use it every day should avoid those makes.

HP,Lexmark,Canon, etc. all have the "printheads" built in the cartridge itself which doesn`t tend to clog with infrequent use.
