Which printer Kodak or HP?

ok i need a new printer and have narrowed it down to these 2..the main reason being the ink is fairly cheap and i go through loads! I currently have a photo printer one and have decided other than it not working i wont use it to do photos on again as too much so just a basic one is fine..

So..HP cheap printer but medioca ink

or KODAK more expensive printer but cheap ink

or CANON cheap printer one has £120 free ink with it too

Hoping to get later as have lots of work to so so any suggestions would be fab!
Thanks

HP from comet has a 10% discount code making it £31-49 but two replacement catridges (compatible) cost £16.

The canon seems to be out of stock everywhere and where is the £120 free ink?

For the price of the Kodak you might as well buy a Brother (as Inactive says)

You usually find when you buy a cheap printer, the ink is expensive because the "printhead" is in the cartridge.
The likes of Epson have the printheads in the actual printer, making catridges cheaper as they are little more than an inktank.

I don`t know if Brother use the printheads in the cartridge or are fixed in the printer, maybe Inactive could tell us.

Hi thanks for the replys..i did say i had to buy last night as not around the rest of the week to be in for one being delivered and need to get certain work done now asap..so needed to be one of the above! I went and got the Kodak one..asded from it being the most expensive it was the sturdyish out of all the ones i liked and they only had 1 left as she said they sold well..so we will see..has a year on so for that im happy! £96 from comet with 2 inks.

Hmm maybe i should have waited..spent ages getting the new one set up and guess what it doesn't blinking work (and i had to really refrain then)..the paper feeds it then prints leaving ink marks all over the page and a nice screwed up line down the middle..hardly something i can give out as work it is..god im fed up!
