Hmm maybe i should have waited..spent ages getting the new one set up and guess what it doesn't blinking work (and i had to really refrain then)..the paper feeds it then prints leaving ink marks all over the page and a nice screwed up line down the middle..hardly something i can give out as work it is..god im fed up!
Take it back get a refund, buy a Brother, I use 3 of them, fantastic printers, so cheap to run as well.
One year included on-site warranty with all models.0 -
My trusty (not) Brother DCP-770CW died on me quickly 13 months after buying it from Misco who are now refusing to replace or refund as it is apparently out of warranty. It went wrong the day I had some important work to do and I had to go and buy HP laserjet from Amazon on that day. Could these manufacturers not produce something simple and basic for printing that will last long enough to be good value? Reading various reviews online, it seems that these things are designed to last for approximately 18 months before dying to force us to buy again. I should have known better anyway and went for something a bit more reputable for printers than a Brother.Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????0

My 3 Brother All-in-Ones have been going for about 3 years now, no problem.
Did you contact Brother, I bet they would have helped, they have a fantastic support service.0 -
Do Brother printers have printheads in their cartridge or in the printer itself?0

My work is various things, forms, letters but mainly contracts for parents..if i dont get them printed i dont get paid so having lost £60 this week already i wanted it desperately to work! It prints though so will see how it goes!

I think you should have to wait for some time. You had to go for HP.0

When some print cartridges cost more than the actual printer, you have to ask yourself is it worth spending a fortune on a printer when the cheapest would do.0
