Good time to buy a Toyota?

Have people been having success in beating down dealers to get bargain prices on Toyotas? With the seemingly never-ending Toyotathon of Death saga I imagine sales are not too good at the moment.

Haven't heard of it actually happening yet but I was thinking the same as you...

Oh dear, you've got the same idea as me, which suggests demand for the product may continue without too much of a denting then ;)

Since Toyboata are recalling and fixing the cars I can't see a long term impact :)

Still waiting for Mr Toyado the CEO to commit hari kari.

Poor bloke only took over in June.

The better bet might be second hand ones rather than new ones for a good haggle.

its the usual media over hyping things as usual.
i heard a lawayer tonight on the radio suggesting that if everyone now knows about these problem toyotas then if you drive one that hasn't had the modifications done them if you crash you will be hanged at dawn (or something to that effect).

i don't think it would worry me to be honest.
apparently the fault with the prius brakes has been known about for sometime by owners, toyota and dealers.
    ...work permit granted!
  • If it happens - stick the car into Neutral?

"the sales situation has developed not necessarily to Toyota's advantage"
