Pah to food shopping. Just been to Sains and had two vouchers; one for £2 off £20 and one for £3 off £30. I thought I was doing really well when the crackers wouldn't scan so I got them for free, until they told me my bill...£29.97!!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRR! I should have asked them to re-scan my lemon or something but felt awkward!

I'd have grabbed a choccie bar :) can u use it next week? we have a £10 off £50 now for the next 4 weeks, but last night we spent £50 (just under) and there were certain stuff we couldn't get grrr like dog food! the sainsburys food makes my biggest dog hyperactive. so that means a top up shop at some point and that means trouble!
Hubby had to buy a new tyre today also and he thinks his radiator might have a crack grrr

spent £37 of my amazon vouchers hehe :)

If the water disappeared out of the system but there is no crack or leak, then there is a chance that it is leaking into the oil via the head gasket.

You should check the oil level, if it has gone up then it might be where the water has gone.

We have ordered some bricks today :)
These are the sort of spends that were going to mean at dec 2012 we would have 15k left on the mortgage- except we are trying to clear it by then and I have not allowed these spends to happen hence its gone on the credit card, in reality taking mortgage overpayment breaks is hard. We discussed everything and hubby is going to order everything that will get him through to the end of the year building so we are not stalling, afterall time is money and if I do have a baby after all this being very pregnant and being early in the building process is very undesirable especially if we ended up paying someone else to do stuff we are more than capable of doing ourselves, but we have to pace ourselves!
These expenses will cause credit card issues, we are at about 2k on the tescos card and about 4k on the sainsburys, these need to go down but we still need to live which limits how much we can battle these down by as most of our money goes on overpayments. I might allow one month paying slightly less on the mortgage to allow some credit card battering but not alter the month we actually hit the new big amounts 40's, 30's etc, I think I can shift 500 out without affecting these big targets! We will hatch a plan soon and will challenge myself on here... hiding the true credit card debt from myself is not the way to go, I need to hatch a proper plan and put it on here and not carry on in denial!!!! I've written it down now so I must comply:beer:

gerbiljo, are those 0% CCs? Because if not, then it would bet better to put the money to the CCs first. After all, what we all want is not just to be MF but to be DF as well, isn't it? And the best way to do that is to hammer the highest interest rate things first. If they're 0% cards, of course, then you can carry on battering the mortgage, but make sure you've got enough cash to pay off the cards before you have to start paying any interest.
    Starting again 13/4/19
    Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99
    Total owed: £28,801.49

Yes they're all 0% and theyre 0% until this sept and next march. We overpay £2700 a month so if I can't pay these off in good time I shall have to not overpay the mortgage to clear them I refuse to pay interest that is definately not the plan- I'm just trying to be clever, hehe, I think we can clear the first 1 in 2 -3 months :)
