I'm not a Quidco fan either. I've kept my account for merchants who don't work through Topcashback, but I really don't like it.
Anyway, inspiring progress - my first overpayment is going to be in May, and I can't wait until my sig has got lots of crossed out bits like yours.0 -
well done for getting into the 5's.0

Hubby has another tax rebate to claim, and he got a payrise, only small but £62 a month and now we are frugal that seems like loads!!
 My payrises for the last ten years have consisted of £10 per month so GO Hubby!Weight loss: Start weight: 80kg; Current Weight: 77kg; Target weight: 55kg0 -

well done on getting into 50s
My payirse this year was £20 a month but actually I thnk it worked out I only came home with about £8 extra lol woohoo
I dont do quidco anymore either, always check TCB first.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987
EMFD was Feb 32  NOW Dec 2013 its Dec 2016
MF new target Dec 16 REACHED!! :j0 -
Poor payrises all round then grrr. I am a member of TCB but I think because I'd paid my £5 membership fee I felt I should go thru quidco. I repay in Feb I think so 9 months to get my 'owed' £120ish, after that I'm out
Money out today so a quick round up- Total interest £73.03 (£2.43 a day) £384.48 off balance, new balance = £58820 (rounded off), nothing else coming out of my account this month except direct debits!!
As a quick comparison, looking back a year (may 2010) stats- Total interest £113.41 (£3.78 a day), £344.10 off balance, balance= £94000 (£35180 difference), that does make the misery easier to swallow!!
On the up the foundations are finished (digging etc) and we're off just to get the dirt taken away and the concrete poured, will be taking my daughter to library club for the first time since she was 9 months old and I was on maternity leaveMortgage November 2003 was £135k, but thanks to this website on 28/08/12 we became MORTGAGE FREE!

Been a bit slack with updates. Went shopping and managed to spend £44, which was ok and for the first week in ages didn't buy any non essentials but had a few expensive bits needed to get. At the check out tho we got a voucher for next week £6 off £40
. Theres lots of stuff I want at the moment, I am feeling the lack of free money!!
Had a mixed week, received 2x£10 vouchers from surveys and £10 on its way. I keep finding things I want to spend them on so I'm not saving them very well. Work made me stressed again tho, it seems I can be really good for a few days and then down again, guess just keep plodding on- worth me writing these things down incase I ever think going back to work would be easy!
Hubby has got some bricks from he dads farm, we have about 500 so he can get laying without it costing much, we already have cement and a £10 wickes voucher so that will get us started on sand. The extension has got to a place of less stress now. The last 2 long weekends hubby had to dig out loads of dirt so were tired as we never got a break at all. There was lots of worry tho incase the neighbours fence or garden fell in as it was up to the boundary and we had to leave it a few days between the weekends as we couldn't get it all dug in a whole weekend. The concrete is poured now and so the fences will never be moving...again possibly! Least now we are at a stage of being able to do little bits when we feel like it. The next major bit will be digging out the floor but we can do some bricks first. My parents have said that they could lend us some money, or I guess we could skip some mortgage payments but I really don't want to do that atm at least. We had no neighbour grief so hopefully now it will all settle down, think we shouldn't really have any worries now until we start laying bricks at the height of their fence.
We are trying to get our credit cards down the tescos one is about £2350 and the sainsburys is about £3400. Tescos is going first, we are going to try and pay off £1000 in june and again in july, ideally I'd like it gone then but I always say this and I'm not sure where I'd get the extra from! After that sainsburys. The extra £500 from this is the loan I owe my parents (interest free) which I pay £500 a month. From next month were taking a break from this- this was intended by them to go on the mortgage but we need to clear the cards. I'm not sure how long this break is for, it was originally intended for overpaying the mortgage until weve finished but my mum thinks she might give up work at the end of the year and so then we might start paying again but the credit cards can't be left. After that my 'loose plan' is to go back to using cash and use the £500 to clear the sainsburys card which I expect will be about £5k by then and see how we go. If we start running out of time obviously a mortgage payment will have to be skipped. We owe less on credit cards than we have spent on building and we haven't got behind on the mortgage so I guess one way of another its worked out. Still considering a holiday at the end of the year...will see if we do that would have to go on a new long term interest free credit card nearer the time and then the balance can be paid when we are MF... Not sure if the extra £500 will ever end up on the mortgage as originally intended?
We are down to one sickish chicken now
Right some tidying in the garden required today which will be nice, need a relaxing day.
