I love petunias, and lovce the flowers reappearing in spring and summer, cant wait to get started in the garden again, it look so drab out there at the moment.

My DD would have loved horse riding lessons but no way could I afford it. My boss owns a horse and they seem a lot of work.

  • Yes they're lovely last year I spent ages painting all our fences 'lavendar' and trellis etc a beige-ish colour and hubby made me some boxes I painted black. We have a fairly small garden and it is surrounded by a wall on two sides so we are trying to make it like a courtyard garden but in the colour theme (even painted the chicken house and run in purple and beige :), all my pots are black too. Well we put the boxes up really high as I wanted to create some more privacy and so I want to have petunias hanging out of them so I've picked various purple and white designs and the veined ones and double ones so I hope it looks nice and they grow well. I had strawberrys up there last year but they go too dry so trying something different, I saw a pub with petunia window boxes and they seemed to live forever so I think its worth a go.

Yeah riding lessons are really expensive I was really lucky when I was young and I had lots of lessons but I could never have a horse and you can only take it so far without one. I'd love a horse really and I'd love my daughter to have one but it's a job in itself so maybe when I am not working...I don't really want one in the long run tho unless I could have it in my garden as it's so much rushing around otherwise. We have a field infront of our house with stables at the back so it would be ok if we could get in there I guess but it has about a 4 year waiting list :)

Wel...the laptop is sold! £180 and they came round and paid in cash so very pleased about that, my nan gave me £15 too so this month I 'think' we might hit £65k exactly. Just realised that hubby gets paid tonight so I can probably pay a bit tomorrow then round it off on tuesday after the overpayment.

Fantastic day today got alot done in the house and can't believe how well my little girl can colour in, she's so sweet she even tried to get it in the lines :) I'm going to make her some colour learning cards, she's good at matching pairs but not colours so maybe colour matching might get her started :) Looking forward to next weekend too we might go swimming and our farm membership starts up again so its like a free activity we can do every week :)

    TY :)

Mortgage money out! This month from our monthly payment (£457.51) we have paid off £382.45 and £75.06 interest which is £2.68 a day :) With CB and this little bit extra coming off due to the short month our balance is now £65000 yay, taking our total owings under 100k, tho we still have the credit card so we aren't quite really!! I have about £8 left in my account for the month, thank goodness for credit cards hehe. Resisted the temptation to pay an extra £1 to see in the 64's guess that'll wait for next month!

So it seems I got into a mess with my gas/elect transfer. As I was on a contract when I switched it was too early so I had to cancel it. Anyway I tried to redo it at the right time and as I confirmed it I realise my gas was £1.88 a month, well I have used the wrong units and so the company I transferred to is about £250 more a year! I have emailed them to cancel but they've not been in touch yet so I hope I can! I did an accurate comparison and I'm already on the cheapest contract, but that is expiring so the new deal isn't as good. Anyway I've taken on the cheapest deal which is the least-more (!) but thats british gas so not cashback except I did it via Uswitch so then I have to contact quidco and tell them to cancel all my cashback trackings...grrr. I get 100 nectar points only as there was an offer for 10,000 nectar points but that tariff was £100 more than the other tariff a year so definately not worth it!! So basically I've got 2 suppliers lined up at the mo!

Feeling ok this week, the weather looks set to turn lovely, no credit card as yet. Plans for this weekend are to go swimming and go to the farm as our membership restarts. Some good news also is that the family whose pony our daughter rode is happy for our daughter to ride regularly so this will be a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a hobby so very happy about that- she's still tiny tho not yet 2 and 1/2 so early days.

Thats about really hoping credit card will turn up before wednesday as we need to pay for some more bits for our foundations!
