The gas situation sounds like a nitemare.

You normally have a cooling off period of 14 days to cancel. It takes 6-8 weeks to change over providers - are you passed that stage yet? I'm currently changing mine from SP's 3 year fixed deal to E on, who seem cheaper with £65.65 c/back. It's a gamble whoever you go with. Hope you sort it.
I can't be bothered updating this anymore

Its sorted:) I emailed them and they just cancelled it without me having to phone and Bgas is now on the case, so thats something.

Had a good day today, did indulge a bit in the garden, I love buying stuff in garden centres....its a terrible financial drain! half our potatoes are planted tho and some of my buxus cuttings i done last year have rooted- 9, I might do loads more, in theory if I kept them for ages and shaped them I could sell them...haha who'm I kidding!!?

Meant to go to the farm but it got too late so will go tomorrow. Had a macdonalds today- not had one for at least a year (Ithink) and a pizza tonight, norty!

Checked out our supplies tho and we already have 7 dinners so no need for a big shop this week just some milk and lunches- so it needs to be a bargain...well see!!

I seem to have developed a garden pot obsession, help me!! :)

Pots are great, I really miss having a garden now! Moaned about it when I had one but never again!

I hope u get a garden soon, nah the MCD was my fault, got up too late so we were out over lunch...

Weekly shop was £28..tho garden centres and wickes was about ooh, well more than £60 ouch. We are ordering some new fence panel next week, block our neighbours out haha, anything to distract from the extension building, our pin numbers are thru so the cards will be following soon so I predict this time next week our credit cards will be more like 4k that 3...I might have to just take that bit off my signature, its easier to pretend I don't have that debt haha!!

Pleased its friday. The new credit card is here and so the old one is now not to be used, the balance on it is £3200. We are starting to order the stuff for the extension foundations, once they are in place it will be a great relief. We need to pay off the old credit card by september, this will be doable, if we mess up we shall surrender part of an overpayment. In the meantime the new credit card will build up. This is quite undesirable nevertheless the only way the overpayments can continue at this rate. After that I suspect a final interest free card card will be required for the final part of the journey M&S looking good.

Hubbys car is in for a service today so far the issues we have are coming to £600. It is rather lucky the new credit card came through as it wouldn't have fit on the old one! Hubby now wants a new car, we have been lucky that we have always had new cars and so never really had things go wrong much before (except crashes) this car is a 54 plate and hubby drives a long way every day. He wants to get a new car this time next year we will have to see as it is a bit interfering with the mortgage plans. We get a good discount usually as family worked for car companies and I guess it would be ok to buy on finance as long as it is 0% otherwise I'd rather just wait, i guess. So much we want to do something has to give I guess... I'd quite like an eco car really...

Horrifying all this trouble in Japan, shocking :(

car worked out £550 but hubby managed to wangle a years free AA (which we cancelled previously to save costs but he was uneasy about not having) and 2300 nectar points so we have enough for a meal out again. That is all good really as now its done its ok, annoying but could have been worse and at least his brakes are reliable now!

Got aload of seeds planted!! hoping for a good crop this year fingers crossed :)

I need to get motivated to get the garden ready for summer but DH not interested in making it look nice and i think it would be nice to spend time doing it together. I planted some 'plugs' the other day and then we had a hard frost overnight, they look a bit sorry for themselves now! Homebase have 20% off garden products next weekend. I need to re-pot a plant so might go for a nosy for some tubs.
