There's an issue in the US about floor mats, I think to do with Lexus. Some haven't got them secured down - but think, do not know, that they could be aftermarket mats. They are getting caught under the throttle pedals....

i know a slow news week i suppose.

the mat issue can happen with any cars, it happened in my focus with the genuine mats fitted, to rectify i would just pull the mat back every now and again,then i bought the studs for the carpet to hold the mat in place. they broke after a while so i just pull the mat back once a week or so,no big deal really. i could cut a bit out of the carpet if it really bothered me i suppose.
