  • Tell the buyer that you aren't going to do anything until the tickets have been sent back to you (recorded delivery for both of your sakes).

    Then check them for usage.

Do they possibly have an expiry date and this is why they weren't accepted?

I wouldn't do anything without the product back though. Did the buyer come to you first? Or straight to PayPal, as most people would contact the seller first to resolve it amicably if they truly believe there is a problem.

I didnt keep the ticket numbers, didnt think I would need to :(

Did you scan them to use as a picture on eBay?

Did you but the tickets on line? If so you most certainly got a receipt from Disney showing the numbers

On no account make any kind of refund without receiving the unused tickets back!!!! Put this in your Paypal defence! The onus of proof is on the ticket buyer in this case! If indeed Disney did refuse the tickets then the buyer MUST be able to return them to you!
  • Legally he has less rights than if he bought them through a regulated box office. You have to argue this with paypal, tell him that he must return the tickets.

Also state the he must provide proof that the tickets were refused. In the absense of this then you should be OK. If he had a genuine problem then he must have used his noggin and recorded it. In the absense of proof then he is taking you for a ride.

The vendors do have the right to refuse resold tickets in the absense proper regulation.

I have 2 tickets in my purse from July last year, both have 2 very small holes in reflecting the fact that we entered the park twice.

I asked where the tickers are and does he have confirmation they were invalid, this way maybe I could get a refund off my credit card company too aswell as proof hes honest and refund him. my question went unanswered the 1st time but will see what he says now

If he wins a paypal claim he will have to return them for a refund anyway.
