  • Halfway through Jeffrey Archer, A Matter of Honour and really enjoying it.

Have Ulrika Jonsson The Importance of Being Myrtle to read. Wouldn't normally fancy it, but my sister says it is really good.

I'd love to re-join if you'll have me and promise to try harder this year as I have far too many books laying around. Today I've started

    Hannah's List - Debbie Macomber

Love reading all your lists/thoughts and reviews of books and have a list of books I'd love to read now too.

can't remember if i admitted it yet but I was very naughty and bought (half price) Just Another Manic Mum-Day by Mink Elliott. Then I find there is a book before it "the p155ed off parents club".

Don't suppose anyone has it in their stash and want to give it a loving new home?
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
  • well i've finished The Slap and all I can say is I feel disappointed and chested. For me it was nothing like the blurb suggested and although i'm not a prude I found all the swearing to be off putting. Definitely not on my recommend list although I hope my sister will read it as i'd love her thoughts on it.
    Now what to start next????
I also have to confess to a purchase, The secret life of bees- 50p in a charity shop was too much of a bargain to resist!

  • Finished:

    Daimon - Jennifer Armintrout
    Falling Fast - Sophie McKenzie
    Goddess Interrupted - Aimee Carter
  • I'm not doing very well in this challenge :o but I have now finished The Lady of the Rivers which was an amazing read and linked in so well with the Wars of the Roses saga Philippa Gregory is writing at the moment can't wait for her next book lol

I am now reading The Take by Martina Cole which is completely out of my comfort zone but I seem to be doing ok with it so far, I've seen the drama adaptation and really enjoyed that so it intrigued me as to what the book would be like.

I have succumed to buying 2 more books tonight in Morrisons though, I know not good :( I've bought War Horse and Call the Midwife by Jennifer Worth, I've got another couple by Jennifer Worth to read yet so I'll do all of them at once when I've finished The Take

Huge thanks to everyone who takes the time and effort to post all the comps! :T
