Be and 02 use the same network, so same possible speeds.
By far the best option for you as you can get it LLU. However if you have a TT LLU line then you will have to take it back to BT first in order to migrate your bb over to o2/Be.
Can you say that in English please? :D

Not any better than you are currently getting from AOL so I don't see any point in moving if it's purely for speed.

You must be quite a distance from the exchange to only get 3.5Mb. I'm almost 2km away (as the crow flies) and O2's estimation was 7Mb.

How far away did SamKnows say you are from the exchange?

AOL BB is provided by Carphone Warehouse which is TalkTalk(TT as macman said).

Who do you pay your phone line rental to?

    About 2-3 miles I think.

Our line rental & calls are through Primus.

At those distances you're doing quite well with 3.5Mb. Your actual line attenuation from your router would give you a more exact picture - do you know how to get them?

Still essentially a BT line then so there wouldn't be a problem moving to O2/Be. However it's not going to increase your speed.

Your only chance of increased speed would be cable BB with Virgin.

Just be careful with Virgin BB - some areas have congestion problems meaning 20MB BB can drop to less than 3Mb in the evenings - not that Virgin will admit to it though!

It's from about 5-9pm that we have the problem, so it may not be any better?
