    what do you think

I got the phone on this deal - only problem was where we live it turns out we dont get a signal with orange - have to drive up the road mile and a half before it says anything other than emergency calls - I already have a nokia 5800 which dh is a good phone - its vodafone pay as you go - anyway he said to me its ruddy daft having two posh ones and not being able to use the contract one at home - send it back....but its such a fab phone and 180 over three years is brill - when I use it I would be out anyway if I was at home I would use the housephone so I though I would keep it - anyway in the end I caved and phoned them and they arranged to send me a prepaid envelope and for me to return it and they have cancelled my account -this blooming envelope has tuned up and I keep thinking its kismet I am meant to keep the phone - what would you do - do you think its worth keeping???? has anyone else had huge signal problems?

lol - that made me chuckle tony - yep Im mad its official - no seriously I want to keep it but his logic is - you cant use it send it back but hey the phone is worth how much - about £350 isnt it - and yeah it will be a pain not using it at home to receive messages but can easy use it when Im out - I just wondered if anyone else had experienced same or if its just me that must live in the back of beyond - lol

by the way I see the satio forum has closed down already - what a shame

am seriously consdering ringing orange back and telling them I havent received the envelope - so what the heck reinstate my contract - Hubby has said he doesnt mind whatever I want to do - think he is sick of me going on about it - lol!!! only thing is grrr have probably lost my quidco on it now - oh well

    Sorry danemi1, I've PM'd you...please don't think I'm pestering lol!

I can see both sides really - yes it's a nice phone, but if you've got no signal.....you never know - Orange may improve the signal in the future...who knows.
Anyway - take care...and again - sorry to pester ;)

  • Why not unlock it and use a sim card from a company that provides coverage at your home address?
