Off topic, but just had a visit from the police. They made an appointment to see me tonight after I called them about the playhouse the other day.

And guess what - they're going to do precisely nothing - again!

Hope DS is OK as had 3 nasty nappies today; don't want him to have caught any nasty bugs as there's lots around. He's OK in himself but does have a nasty cough (same as me). DD's fine thankfully.

Hi, apologies if you already know this [look away if your eating] Kiddies can get nasty nappies when they are bunged up as they are not properly able to get rid of mucus like we are [through our noses or coughing it up] so it travels down through the system, into their tummy and out the other end. If he doesn't have any other symptons it good be this or I could be talking nonsense and he might have a tummy bug but I do hope not.

Well I managed to buy a washer - went to C***t and the store price quoted was £20 more than internet price. After telling sales assistant the online price he went to check the web and knocked the £20 off the store price, then told him the I had found one with free delivery so he then went to check and is only charging me 1p for delivery for Sunday! Saved £40 just by knowing the best deals on the internet!!!! Mind you I would have walked away from the store if they hadn't been willing to offer me a good deal and would have ordered off the internet!

The moral of this story is do your homework on line, know what deals you can get and be prepared to walk away. If they are desperate enough the assistants will give way! Power to the purchaser!!!!

Then came home and proceeded to wash DS very muddy rugby kit by hand in preparation for his game on Saturday - only to be told on his return from work tonight that there isn't a game on Saturday. Kids, don't you just love 'em?

I didn't manage to get very much flying done due to the above - but I have managed to stick to my diet today which is something.

Tomorrow working day and Air Cadet presentation evening - DS has been nominated and got through to the final 5 for Wing Cadet of the Year which will be announced tomorrow evening.

Will try to fly on Saturday after my Chiropractic adjustment... just have to wait and see how I feel.

Its the best nights sleep I have had in a long time, not so sure about the satin sheets, a bit slippy but think it is really going to help my back ( have a curved spine) but ever since I could talk (according to my nana) I have been saying I had a sore back so I guess I just have to get on with it :rotfl:

Managed to still get to my training which I'm loving, keep finding out really interesting facts re child development, like it takes a child/teen 2 years to come to terms with the break up of their parents relationship and 4 years to come to terms with a parents new relationship....interesting and also fits with personal experience....love facts like these, very useful to know especially as I work with a lot of re-constructed families.;)

Aww good luck for your DD2'a birthday tomorrow, at the end of the day she will always be your wee girl :D and the course you are doing sounds really really interesting, that kind of thing would keep me interested, I once fell asleep at a meeting in front of the divisional director :o but the guy spoke in the same low tone all the time
