worry not PP - I'm fine - haveing my bits poked and prodded during labour (well failed labour) etc soon knocks the edges off. I didn't mind it was just uncomfortable afterwards (inserts shrug smiley) but I really do think that some health professionals don't understand the impact of what they say - of COURSE we flippin' worry - why wouldn't we? So they need to talk to us as though we are sentient beings and not ignorant lumps of meat

No work for a week and a bit and no contact with pupils for even longer due to courses! :widest grin ever seen:
    (We'll gloss over parent's evening;))

I s'pose I ought to clean Valli Towers, really...
    *heartfelt sigh*
My friend has phoned and told me that, now that her fiance has put his house on the market she is putting hers on to see which goes first and I have seen a darling house (needs work but gorgeous) and she's seen it and agrees and now I am twisting her arm to buy it, not least because I can't afford it (stamps foot) - it would be perfect for her (well I'd love it) *sighs*
anyway we're going out Tuesday and I'm going out in Steel City Friday (all being well) and hope to hit the bars on West Street *grins* again ;);)

Thanks for the info pigpen. Obviously been given duff info in the past. :rotfl:Still don't fancy the coil though. Makes me think of snakes up there for some reason! Are your sisters both ok now then?

One of them was told she would have to have a hysterectomy when they delivered her baby.. she declined the generous offer and got the all clear last October!! but she is on 6 monthly smears for a while.

the other has been put back to the usual 5 year smear as she was fine after the colposcopy.

so yes, both are doing well now.

if you ever want children in the future I would discourage use of a coil. After STI's they are the biggest cause of female infertility.

    Morning lovely flyladies,
Toots - hugs.gif Not much change from the last time I posted, Tris is having breathing therapy to help the lung that was patched up get stronger. He cannot walk far because he cannot breathe but that will improve. Michelle is doing much better. She needed some intensive therapy once the swelling on her brain went down but has responded well. Both still in hospital and not likely to be home soon, but it all looks positive.
LadyL - love.gif Stayed on messenger all day. Missed you honey, so sorry you had a bad day.
Boddy - hope your mums appt at the ENT clinic went well.
Cyclingyorkie - Congratulations on repaying the balance on your card, that is super!
Rosepink - kiss.gif So glad you are having a lovely time, you deserve it hon!
Jinkypink - smooch.gif Walking in more of a linear direction this morning I hope! giggle.gif
    Poppy - hugs.gif
Triker - Sorry your meds are making you ill.
Hellsbells - hugs for you hon. Hope the headache goes soon.
prettypennies - Your smear test experience was quite a saga, you poor thing.
Off to find a list or two.

Morning Diva and all who follow her.

I have no reason why I am up at silly o'clock (we will have left by this time on Saturday and bet I struggle to get out of bed then).

    PrettyP
    - well done for going that is the most important thing. Sorry it was not made easy for you. I have a friend who was called back, went for the C thing and all was well. It is common to have abnormal smears but always always worth checking out.

    Plan for today:
    [STRIKE]Visit -
    Lidl
    Morrisons
    B&Q return
    Scrap Store deposit
    M&S return
    Bank NJ
    Boots
    waitrose
    Moonsoon[/STRIKE]

[STRIKE]Fed and play with friends Puppy at lunchtime (she must be desperate she know's I don't do dogs)
    [/STRIKE]
    Packing/Packing/Packing

    [STRIKE]Send a few emails - I'll start that now[/STRIKE]

    Package up returns for next
sort out camera memory sticks - doing now

Right that should keep me busy for a bit.
