No Chance! We're working our way through a DT Food project - 60% of the final GCSE mark - DD is doing cheesecakes aimed at kids (ie reduced fat, sugar, with a lot of fruit in!) When wipping Elmlea last week she had to use a handmixer...which she had to wash first!!!!!:mad::mad::mad:

Teacher left after year 10 and the current teacher is really a woodwork teacher...and he struggles with some of the behaviour - half the class only took it as a doss subject:mad::mad::mad:

Which is a real pity as some of them are really good at it! And they won't offer it for A Level.....

I'm glad my passage amuses you :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:it has to be done pretty much every day because the rabbits are in the dining room ( which is off the passage ) and anytime anyone goes in there they bring a load of hay and sawdust out with them.

Afternoon all,

I'm off sick again! Was awake all night with a fever - hadn't felt right all afternoon at school and was on playground duty in the cold in the morning, which probably didn't help - I'd been in my coat on top of my jumper and top all afternoon cos I was freezing, and the first thing the cleaner said when he came in my room, was that it was hot in there. Have spent a lot of today catching up on sleep, but have taken tomorrow off too cos I'm all achey now, and still haven't had the inclination to eat anything today. I've marked the literacy books I took home last night, so hope colleague picks them up on the way home. I'm frantically cooking salt dough too, as I took some of that home as well. Most of it is uncooked at school and they are meant to be painting it on Thursday! eek! I feel bad about taking time off, cos I was only off sick a couple of weeks ago, but never really got over what I had last time, and I suppose this latest illness is my body's way of telling me to get better fully before going back to work.

greenbee I'll keep you posted on how I'm doing, as I may not be able to come on our walk on Saturday.

Hugs to all who need or want them - sounds like there are quite a few of you who do at the moment.

Glady LadyL is getting out of the house to enjoy herself.

I'm so glad I tidied that bookcase yesterday. It gave DS1 the opportunity to pull everything off it today without creating a cloud of dust :mad:. Now he's complaining his sock is lost on the floor under the contents of the bookcase. He won't be getting any Weetabix cake later then:D.

Thanks Sandy and MSD for that, also found a link to Weetabix chocolate brownies (don't tell Piggers - she obviously doesn't do weetabix!).:rotfl:

Clear out a cupboard.. The one with baking supplies or the one with pans and plastic boxes.. GO!! Or you could, if you have one, clear the pantry!
Wipe and replace small appliances.. Clean one thoroughly![/STRIKE]
Level Three
[STRIKE]Wipe units and large appliances.. don't forget kickboards!
Wipe the insides of all the cupboard doors!
Organise any cookery books.. Dusted, destickified and placed back tidily!

Weetabix are fine but the cakes etc made with them are disgusting all icky like sloppy weetabix.. *shudder* nastiness!!

I paid some bills.. and worked out which 5 I have left to pay this month
Governors meeting done for another few weeks..

!!!!!!!!!! I AM NOW THE VERY PROUD NON~OWNER OF AN OVERDRAFT!!!!!!!!!!

I now have £167 a month free to pay off something else quicker.. lucky me!!
