    Welcome Alizarin

And yes, I can certainly understand why LL is tired from her jaunt on Saturday!

    Big hugs BenW xxx

Mudders - lovely to see you again - glad you're all ticking over. I think you made the right decision about the job offer xxx

Pen pen - 50 consecutive weeks of getting stars? You swot! (But I still love you xx)

Piggers - big hugs love xxx

Rach - sending you humungous, positive, all powerful speedy job extension vibes xxx

    AnW'
s - your nuggets of wisdom over Dorastar's star and your appalling Purina diet post have me in awe of you! :T:rotfl:

Well, I have focussed on the talk. Constructed six slides and have deleted three of them then resorted to pen and paper to write a list of what to talk about. I know where I'm going now. Also fielded what seemed like a gazillion phone calls at home this evening. That, coupled with a day at work which I could, actually, describe as ~shock horror!~ almost, slightly, possibly, just a bit, busy means I'm tired.

Off to forage in the fridge for food

    Hiya everyone!

I have read up to about page 11 then gave up reading because every time i caught up with a page , another page of posts were up lol , you can see where I am going with this.

Today so far I have done

    - Take washing downstairs , will load wm after stendars
-Had a bath (i always have a bath but usually leave it to a lot later)
-Brought groceries for work and breakfast for work
-put some rubbish from my room in the bin (find it hard to throw anything away)
    - Stuck my new work hours on the wall so i do not keep forgetting lol.

I am going to work hard to get my first star :)

Welcome to the thread Em. Bedroom sounds like a job for AnW's patented dot-2-dot in the bedroom - and Serena's the QUEEN of bedroom decluttering.

Thank you valli! - I have in fact resolved not to mention it again.:o

I haven't read the whole thread yet, will catch up tomorrow, and will be back flying then. DS1 has hoovered the livingroom, done the recycling, washed up and prepared dinner.

Why do you have pics of cups of coffee on your shelf??:rotfl:

:rotfl: Thank you that really made me laugh. Sorry to hear you are having a bad time.

Well done Penpen, I thought I was doing well with one star:o

I am totally shattered, since I last posted I have sorted all the paper crap (letters from school etc) from the dumping basket, Made tea (well took it out of the slow cooker), Bathed 2 kids and forced the other one into the shower with the threat of a lifetime PSP ban, made a weetabix cake, hoovered the stairs, made pack ups, cleaned up from tea, prepared tomorrows tea and have muffin mix in the bread maker so I can cook them fresh in the morning for breakfast.

Oh and shouted at DH because he came striding into my spotless living room with his shoes on AND didn't even notice all my hard work.

Well done PEN PEN ... jealousy is washing over me as I type!!!

NSNDH brought me home a huge bouquet of fave flowers, and instead of saying heartfelt thanks, I moaned about the cost. How rubbish a wifey does that make me!! Have since said thank you properly, and promised not to mention the cost again, if he promises not to buy flowers again this year!!

Haven't done much flying, but will catch up tomorrow x

hex, I have 100s of books listed on Amazon but they aren't selling at present.
I am tempted to put my recipe books on there but then remember I need a particular recipe. I have used almost every book in the last year but just one or two recipes.

Why dont you photocopy the recipes you use and keep them in plastic sleeves in a file? Takes up heaps less space that way (says she - another bookaholic!)
