Thanks to those who were concerned about me getting rid of books - it was a breakfast decision and not alcohol fuelled! I have 000s of books, some of which I know will never read or use again which take up space, and which could be rasing funds for the local hospice :). I am starting with my cooking books - of which I have roughly 5' of shelving, some double stacked. I actually use - ooh, maybe three of them. So far I have indentified one for disposal :o.

Hex2 - Woz catching up on the thread with a well earned cuppa :coffee:, and saw your post. Am curious to see if you have any Nigella Lawson or Jamie Oliver in your 'collection' which i would happily rehome in an exchange for a donation to your local hospice. please let me know.

Maybe Hex you should list the books somewhere for all of us to see if we would like to rehome them for a fee:)

Monday~ Living room/family room or other reception room!

    All done Toots :D:D:D

Thanks for the suggestion Leed and sabs.

Kazw - I chuckled at that thread too. After four years of trying I think small children and spotless are mutually exclusive.

  • mudbath hello angel - how lovely to see you posting again - sorry to hear DS has had more bouts of pain but a bigWELL DONE to him for his competition result. It took some courage to turn down that job as I know its something you really enjoy - (((hugs))) -I am super impressed at my dog helping with the shredding = hope there wasnt anything too important destroyed!!!
Benw thats terrible about the playhouse - I hope they can do something about it although I doubt if they will have any clues. Why do people have to ruin other peoples property especially that used by children - it makes me so mad.
Kazw sounds like some of those posters could do with being here

When our chicken shed was burned down last year, the police reaction was 'no-one died or was raped' and so did nothing at all :mad:

Wish i could move to the country - oh I forgot, already live in the country
