Thanks to those who were concerned about me getting rid of books - it was a breakfast decision and not alcohol fuelled! I have 000s of books, some of which I know will never read or use again which take up space, and which could be rasing funds for the local hospice. I am starting with my cooking books - of which I have roughly 5' of shelving, some double stacked. I actually use - ooh, maybe three of them. So far I have indentified one for disposal
.
Hex2 - Woz catching up on the thread with a well earned cuppa :coffee:, and saw your post. Am curious to see if you have any Nigella Lawson or Jamie Oliver in your 'collection' which i would happily rehome in an exchange for a donation to your local hospice. please let me know."Life's like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get" Forest Gump0 -

Maybe Hex you should list the books somewhere for all of us to see if we would like to rehome them for a fee:)0 -

mudbath hello angel - how lovely to see you posting again - sorry to hear DS has had more bouts of pain but a bigWELL DONE to him for his competition result. It took some courage to turn down that job as I know its something you really enjoy - (((hugs))) -I am super impressed at my dog helping with the shredding = hope there wasnt anything too important destroyed!!!
Benw thats terrible about the playhouse - I hope they can do something about it although I doubt if they will have any clues. Why do people have to ruin other peoples property especially that used by children - it makes me so mad.
Kazw sounds like some of those posters could do with being here

When our chicken shed was burned down last year, the police reaction was 'no-one died or was raped' and so did nothing at all :mad:
