    Hiya
Hope you're all ok. Now, please don't all faint in shock but i've COMPLETED TODAY'S LIST!!!!! Need to go and lie down now! The house has stayed tidy for the last few weeks but actual cleaning has gone out of the window and as we've having a party on Saturday I need to make inroads!

For the nosy amongst you (mmmm, doesn't that include everyone!!) - it's been a busy few weeks. I decided to turn the job offer down. DS had a few pains again - I'll always put him first so now isn't the right time to take on paid work at the hospice. My time will come! He was well enough to compete in a big taeKwonDo competition and came second so we're very proud of him. DD's been full of coughs, colds and chest infections but has still insisted on going to school today for her mock SATS tests. Our school makes them fun (mad, I know!) so she really did want to miss them, bless her.

Stripes is doing well, no accidents recently - she's started shredding paper which is great as it reminds people not to leave letters etc lying around. Well, that's the theory!

Now I've just got to complete the lists for the rest of the week.

Hugs to you all and a big  to LL, dusty and toots (well, to you all actually!) xx

    waves limply

have just come home on PPA time which is a good thing as AF is being somewhat 'enthusiastic' despate the tablets and I have washed the breakfast hings up (really) and stuck a rice pudding in the oven. (thus giving impression of in control mother/career person who can manage well) I am not going to change the bedding in case she continues being enthusiastic and it's not like anyone else will see, *grumbles* (not at fact no-one will see but because it now needs changing.) And I would like to sleep tonight instead of waking up and not being able to get back to sleep.
    Best crack on!
ETA good job I passed all my xmas cards to a colleaugue to re-use (they'll go to her church) as she found a gift cheque for me that DS had 'lost'!

BenW - Can I swap husbands for a couple of weeks - I promise to send him back in good condition:rotfl::rotfl:

Have to admit our current TD is 16 years old, DH repaired it 5 years ago when the belt broke, the handle to open the door came off about 3 years ago and ever since I have been opening it using the plastic door surround and brute force. The brute force was finally too much for it this morning! If it wasn't for the fact that the bearings are going and it makes a HORRENDOUS NOISE I'd probably not admit defeat! Thanks for all your recommendations, I'm off to Quidco to order the new one now:)

    Hi all
Hope everyone is OK? I haven't read the thread today - too busy...not sure where my time goes to each day...so I'm sending hugs and positive vibes to all who need one.

Right...here's the reason why I haven't caught up....

Monday~ Living room/family room or other reception room! DONE!! Please can I have a star, Toots?

    Extras

In addition I have made blueberry muffins, stitched the pyjama bottoms I'm making for DD and I'm planning to do HHI later, before sitting down to knit.

Can't guarantee that it's going to continue like this, but it's not a bad start!

Right, I'm off to make some dinner.
    See you later

    1. Finish/do a small DIY job - did the measuring for the replacement gate.
Also hoovered the living room again because the window broke all over the carpet around the oplace where it was shot last year. And called the police to chat with a very nice police woman who was full of sympathy - my playhouse has been vandalised - the door smashed, the window smashed, evidence of smoking and drinking inside (burn marks on the child sized picnic bench and a cardboard crate of Stella inside on the floor).

    Otherwise:
Finished :j:j Please may I have a star TOOTS
