I've got an old V40 and I'm very happy with it. Not terribly economical though and the V70 offers a lot more load space.
I also hired a Mondeo on holiday and was very impressed with that.0 -
I've got a Nissan Primera 2.2DI SVE Estate as my winter runabout.
I used to drive an Almera which was fine - I bet these will be too.
Watch for seized rear calipers if it has discs all round and corrosion of the front crossmember if it's built anything like the Almera.
Mine was 2003 with 35k on the clock and suffered from both.0 -
