    Thanks.

Are they able to change their ratings if they realise they done them wrong ?

    TIA
  • The buyer just came back and said that he voted 10 in all sections. That's using a Spanish to English translator on the message anyhow.

I thought it was only between 1-5 ?

    Maybe he thought 1 was 10 ?

    Hasn't offered to change anything.

Am I right in saying the ratings are updated straight away as this is how I've worked out it was this particular buyer or are they a few days later ?

Also is it possible to leave feedback then do your ratings a few days later on as if that's the case then it may be a different Buyer ?

    TIA

I always thought the seller dashboard took a few days to update, but with all the changes and glitches on ebay at the moment I can't be sure of anything any more.

I've recently taken a hit on my DSRs despite glowing feedback from my buyers :(
I'm down to 4.6 even on my communication and yet I always thank buyers for their payment AND let them know the instant their item is posted; what do they want, flippin' Hamlet's soliloquy? :o
I'm sure some folk are scoring 1s on the stars by accident.
"I'm ready for my close-up Mr. DeMille...."
  • Well if it takes a few days then it could have been another buyer. This one did say something was wrong with his purchase in his feedback, but didn't contact me directly regarding it (a £4.99 item) and it wasn't a major thing anyway IMO.
However if it was that buyer, for them to leave 1's across the board when surely it should only have been a 1 in the "item as described" section is wrong and seems to be acting out of spite.
I suppose as the seller there's nothing I can do though ?

Sorry to hear that, luckily I'm still in the 4.8's for everything except P/P which is in the 4.7's.

Like you I always let the buyer know the items been sent plus always send the day after payment is rec'd during the week.

Updating this post as I've run a few reports and indeed this is the transaction in question that has caused the problems. He left me 1's across the board and it wouldn't have been a mistake as this guy has been around long enough to know what they are doing.

Why not email any concerns first ?

To leave 1's for the other areas such as desp, comm, p/p is ludicrous and there should be some way of redressing the balance.
