    2lbs ON - bu$$er, Bu$$er, s0d as my mother would say!
so now I've only lost 3lbs in May! really annoyed with myself I did so well at the start - get close to target and get slack!

some of this is OH's fault :D not really ! lack of will power is the real thing at fault. but OH has been working late (10pm mon & tues and 11pm last night - we get up at 6.30am ) so when he got in last night he wanted to chat and relax - which I respect and understand - you need some wind down time before bed, but I didn't have to drink the whole bottle of wine with him just to keep him company now did I?!? (Not going to mention my pasta dinner portion as no one else saw that ;))

My fate has been sealed too, went to get a ham salad sandwich and the lady who doesn't make a nice salad was on, so had cheese, ham & coleslaw instead :o I'm out saturday for a birthday lunch and sunday for an evening meal which will all involve alcohol (my biggest down fall).

So its not looking good for 7lbs in May - maybe May 2013 :rotfl:

Rant over, if anyones still reading!

Just resisted the temptation to nip into a cafe and have a coffee and cake (I don't seem to be able to have coffee in a cafe without cake;)) I had to nip down to our "storage facilty" ie shed on an industrial estate and as it is quite near a nice cafe it is tempting to skive a bit and stop for a coffee, but today I didn't :)

mozzy.... don't overdo it in the gym if you feel ill, it'lll make you worse, well done for loosing so much already. I will be getting back to the gym tomorrow so I'll be thinking of you

    today is:

breakfast, 2 x wm toast and wafer thin turkey

lunch, some not very nice yellow stickered squid with l.o veg and a HUGE mound of l.o butternut mash. 60 cal choc moose

dinner will prob be the rather unappatsing looking mushroom & spinach curry i made with the mushrooms that were threatening to walk off on their own :rotfl:

i will be swimming tonight and aim to do 50 lengths (1250m)

i am becoming a bit obseesed with roasted and mashed BNS, its delicious. at least its better than regular pot mash.

The day's plans went out of the window after my previous post, friend phoned to apologise but had to cancel as she was in bed with D&V. Half an hour later her son turned up with the oxtail casserole which she'd planned for our lunch! In fact enough for two meals, so that's tomorrow taken care of too :). So...

Lunch - oxtail casserole, veg, ff yogurt to follow

Early supper - 1/2 jacket in the fridge so fried with bland lf sausage (might end up giving the rest to the pets), mushroom, onion, egg. FF yogurt

Snax - 2 satsumas, plum, apple

Out early tomorrow so prob no breakfast, won't be in til mid afternoon so I'll enjoy that casserole by the time I get it!

well it's 11.35am and i am having my breakfast now
stayed at school to help in ds's computer lesson - it's fun!
then did the food shopping and now i am home ..

no yoghurt though but eggs! kept reading about eggs earlier so i blame you lot :D

2 dry fried eggs with spring onion and a few cubes of bacon on 2 wm slices of bread and a cup of tea - sounds allright, doesn't it?!

they are still selling off that lovely mothers day chocolate and soooo cheap! like 7 yummy tasting hearts for 50cents (that's like 25p!!)

i am not going tee-total on sweets but allowing myself 2 things a day. i don't have to have it but i can if i want to and don't have to feel guilty! - but am having a slice of pizza later and maybe a little bit of cake ... going to a friends sons 1st birthday :j

oh, and re the wine drinking: try either to take turns a glass of wine / a glass of water or get some sparkling water and water the wine down half. still tastes nice :)

Morning all - back from my few days at the caravan. Well, so much for packing my healthy and low-calorie/low-fat box of food! Succumbed to one meal out (lasagne again but this time I got salad with it instead of garlic bread!) an odd glass of wine each evening and did a little bit of ransacking in DH's goodie box! I must be good now till Sunday for my next weigh-in! We did manage to fit in a bit of walking though this week, so that might have done a bit of good (says she hopefully!!)

We are grounded now for a week or two - DD and 3 DGD's are using the van next week (school hols) and the week after that she resumes work after maternity leave so we are back on the child-minding rota again. Trips away will have to be fit in as and when possible! I might stick to the diet a bit better though, as I seem to stick to it better at home. Plus running around after small children might shift a bit! And I can come on here daily and get a bit of encouragement!

Just sorted out my plan for today:
B - Porridge with mixed berry compote
L - HM soup with Nimble granary sandwich. Light choc mousse and sliced banana.
D - Chicken breast with big salad and new pots. Meringue nest with mixed berries and FF yogurt.
S - hopefully will be Crackerbreads with HM jam spread on & scraped off again! Grapes and satsumas.

    Have a good day everybody!
