• Ive recieved a letter todaytelling me that they have taken another £29.40 for the next 12 issues - I dont remember signing up for a direct debit. As far as I was concerned I was paying the 12 pounds and that was the end of the story!
Ill ring them and cancel

Hmmm I ordered on the 6th and I've emailed and asked if they would please let me know when my subscription would start and when I will be recieving my free Benefit gift. How annoying not to have changed the website once they had run out of gifts.

I'll post my reply if I get one :)

Have just found this posted by Abzorba on hot deals:
"Had a letter through the post today about the subscription.

It states:
"As instructed we have processed your Credit Card authorisation and have collected your first payment of £12.00 for your first 12 issues. A further payment of £29.40 has been collected for the next 12 issues.""

Sorry if already posted but thought we should all be aware.

I recvd the same letter.
rang the Customer services :rotfl:and was told this was a mistake and only £12 pounds will be deducted.

I've now e-mailed the same enquiry to IPC Subscriptions <IPCsubs@quadrantsubs.com>
to get written confirmation.

This bargain hunting is becoming hard work ;)

Got back;

Gifts are allocated on a first come first serve basis. The orders processed with the free gift until the allocated amount is used. Thereafter the order is processed without the free gift. As per all advertisements free gifts are subject to availability.

They didn't answer my question as to why orders placed days later were getting the gift!!!
• Also - letter confirmed a gift within 28days
one of the luckier ones.
Order placed on the 7th of Feb (if it helps)

Do'nt anybody say "don't hold your breath" :p

Hi,

I've just called the cs number (01444 475675) about the £29.40 and the lady I spoke to said that this was an error and no second payment will be taken, just the £12.

I also asked about the Benefit free gift and she said that I wasn't down for one so added it to my order and said it should be delivered in 28 days.

Very strange, glad I queried it although I wouldn't be suprised if I don't receive them.

(Ordered on the 6th, email didn't mention Benefit stuff, received confirmation letter this morning saying first mag will be May issue.)
• this is getting ridiculous! I think i'll have to put on a stern voice and phone up using very big words!

Glad to hear some people are making progress with this shambles!:T
• I took out my subscription early afternoon on the 6th February and received a confimation e mail shortly afterwards.
Today I received my confirmation letter, no mention of my free gift and to add insult to injury, telling me they had taken another £29.40 from my credit card for the next twelve issues!
Needless to say I shall be calling the "Customer Care" department shortly.

Hi ,
I ordered on the 7th February and received a letter this morning confirming my subscription but stating that I was too late for the free gift so I have cancelled the subscription.
