That's me with vodka! :rotfl: (the scary thing is...my best friend has a video! thankfully she's on the other side of the Atlantic.) Anyway, cannot touch the stuff now.
I'll bet weezl has some homemade ginger beer going on in the back shed or something :rotfl: :A
just thinking back that I didn't actually eat meat today - not intentional in the least as I wasn't raised CoE or Catholic, just all part of weezl's frugal eating plan!DH is currently salivating over the liver in the fridge though, so I need to turn it into pate tout suite or else I may find him devouring it clandestinely with fried onions when my back is turned!

.........creeps in nervously.....
Sorry did i start something earlier with my green eyed monster comment about Weezl I am very sorry didnt mean to put my size 8s in there quite so heavily hope i didnt offend anyone it certainly wasnt meant especially you Weezl. For the record i am 5' 11" and that "cough" size that seems to be popular but hoping to be smaller by the time we meet.
If the soup doesnt contain the apple i would be happy to try it Weezl or a version without the fruit let me know. Will also make some mayo prob Sunday as that is my day off. And certainly no rush on answering the PM sorry if it sounded like i was nagging just wanted to make sure you had received it cause my computer skills mean i could have sent it to some random person who opened it and thought:eek: weirdo!0 -
hi all,
Size 10 bleeding heck woman!
I used to be that about ahem 10 year ago:o.
I said to my OH i'm going on a diet, so he ran and bought me a bar of chocolate and said no chance:D. What can i say size 14/16 but can still get free drinksand chocolate bought for me.Really need to lose weight though but as a teesside lass at 5"2 1/2 i'm too cheap to go to a gym.
Going to join in the challenge this month, just need to figure out pack lunches for boys and OH. Full fat milk, i get delivered for the boys, so its really just me and OH.
So it may not be exact but i'll try and stick to it as closely as possible.
So when are you all meeting up with each other? Because of all your hard work you deserve it! I'll join in the park with the cider, me and malibu just don't work together.
Right to bed night all x0 -
There are quite a lot of us 5'11"ers around! Buuuuut... can anyone beat my (and I'm a girl) size 11 feet?!
Another one who is a size (cough)... firmly in the plus sizes though!
Oh... and mine's a Jack 'n' coke!On the up

lesley, is the milk in the green pea soup by accident or design?:);)
have we got any willing soup testers? I'm thinking maybe sian in advance of the whole month testers giving it a whirl?
or any of the lovely month testers who don't mind eating the same soup more than once :rotfl:
500g green peas (not the dried ones) simmered in just under a litre of water for 20 mins. I add 2 stock cubes, but we don't have any. Add half tsp sugar and some mint if you have it
make a roux with 25g flour and 25g spread. Or miss out the spread by mixing the flour directly with half pint milk (or less, but it is much better with a good splosh, although having said that, I haven't actually tried it without milk). Mix the milk mix into the cooked peas and simmer a couple of mins to cook out the flour. Then whizz smooth and season with s+p0 -
